This will be a true test game for the Bobcats going up against another top dog team in the league and I don't think we have ever won on one of these daytime MLK games. We need for Okafor to bring his A game today while facing off against Duncan.

Let's go Bobcats!

Yeah, Okafor and Nazr, need to be on it! Then Crash and J-rich too, of course!

yeah we got real sloppy there and let SA get ahead of us. We have got to Defence them and we have to go to the paint. Perimeter shots are killing us on both sides of the ball, we cant hit they cant miss....54-47 SA at the half....

Our guys, sure are trying, but DANG, don't they ever miss a shot?!

When either GW or JRich have an off-night, it's tough to win; when they're both off, it's near impossible. 10-36 between them. Credit the Spurs for taking them out of the game, and the team for that matter. Our best players were Mek and Nazr, and the other players (and coach, undoubtedly) forgot about them. Despite many of their jumpers going in, being hot from 3, and being aggressive on defense, as usual, we had our chances.

Lots of long 2s, lots of missed 3s, too many errant passes by JRich, too many errant jumpers. The better team and the better COACHED team won today. Not much more to say than that :-\

......

A near must win coming up on Wednesday. It can definitely happen against the Mavs, but if their shots are going down, it won't happen, I fear. Here's hoping...

How about a role reversal? Okafor shows up with his A game, and the rest of the guys look like they are observing the Holiday and don't want to work! Not a good showing.

How about this... They were working, hard, Okafor was a beast, he took Tim Duncan head on and did very well, but Gerald and Jrich had off nights. Fine it happens, Nazr has a great showing too, but Radio decides to keep them from playing and run Jeff (who is as horrible as usual) Ray (not great) Jrich Gerald and maybe Mek, maybe nazr but not for the minutes they should have been in for. We needed to ride them and we didnt, instead we had jrich score 0 points in the second half. Too bad, to many unforced turnovers, not smart coaching=loss

COACHING LOSS Agreed , Mek and Nazr combined for 48 mins of play with a player fresh out of the D league starting for them. Who scored just three points . Starting Mcinnis and playing him all those mins puts us at a disadvantage ever game. It was no way in hell he could keep Parker out of the lane. At least if we played both bigs at the same time we could of put a big hedge on the pick and role .And kept Parker out of the lane. SORRY COACHING.
By the way all the playing time is starting to catch up with Wallace as hes got a sore calf and a strained knee. I kinda doubt he starts against Dallas.

I agree GW and JR both were off today and I believe that most of our problems are playing 4 on 5 basketball when McInnis is in the game, but today it was the "perimeter shots" killed us on both sides of the ball because we couldnt get into the paint at times and would dish out for the perimeter shot. Like I said earlier we couldnt hit them and they couldnt miss them..... :g:

Man, we just let this slip away slowly. True Spurs style. I have no idea what kind of advantage Radio thinks that jefF mcMINUS gives us. Great to see Mek take it to Duncan, but the rest of the team's play just kind of wasted it. Ugh... Well, nothing to do about it now, hopefully we'll show up to play the Mavs (Okafor especially).

Mek and Nazr combined for a wicked 16/22 from the field :wow1:
Sam Vincent HAS to find a way to get both of those guys on the court at the same time.
Hell, Make the opponent adjust to us for a change.

Although I agree with your points I also blame GW's and JR's shooting today a combined 10/36 shooting both were 5/18, thats why we lost..... :g:

True, if Crash and Richardson shoot 45-50% combined in the game, we win.

Guys I'm sorry for not being a posting hoarder lately, I've had my head stuck up my butt for the last couple of weeks.

I didn't get to see the Memphis or San Antonio games, but I'm glad we got at least one of them.

How many games out of the 8th spot in the East are we? Do we still have a chance?

Rich and Crash can't shoot 50 percent ever game . Mek and Nazr was both lights out . But only play one full game between them 48 mins .Radio HAS to realize whos scoring and whos not. Mcinnis kills us ever game is RADIO brain dead or somthing. Mcinnis can't score and he can't play defence at all . Answer this why does RADIO have such man love for him . Any answers i doubt any . If we as fans see this problem them RADIO has to see it or hes the dumbest coach ever.

Yeah, it seemed like that was because they were settling for Js too much again.

Last check, 2.5 out of 8th. We need to keep playing better than .500 basketball, but the road's gonna get harder (literally, as we will actually be on the road).

Beating the Mavs tomorrow in Charlotte would be nice, but past that, beating the Bulls, 76ers(only one of these at home), Clips, Kings, and possible the Warriors or Nuggets is going to be crucial. Those aren't the best of the best (though we end this road trip with the Suns), but they're all (except the 76ers game) on the road. Someone mentioned how road trips help teams band together. I think this is a great opportunity for the Bobcats to do that. The competition seems to gradually get tougher over the next week and with them on the road, hopefully they'll gel together and bring back some wins.

What's the latest on Gerald?
