Wednesday night Dirk Hasselhoff Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks come to town.

Its unlikely that Dirk will be as inebriated as he was in the image above, so we are going to have our hands full. Especially since Gerald Wallace is questionable (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AibkAo56NNwXrOYm0RkwMsK8vLYF?slug=ap-bobcats-wallace&prov=ap&type=lgns)

This is going to be a tough game, but we need it badly so that we can claw one game closer to .500

I'm not sure what to think about this one. I do think it was good that ESPN has us as the favorite, where SA was the favorite the last game. Hopefully they can get their 1st win off of Dallas tonight!

Seems like when our players are injured the rest seem inspired and stand up to the challenge. I hope to see some of that tonight. Too bad it's not Mcinnis on the bench...

It was a great effort tonight. They hustled and tried and I commend them. Ray was pretty good tonight, and Okafor was solid tonight. I give him credit. J-Rich and Crash did well, but we were just outmanned and outplayed by a superior team. We have to be better defensively. That is a must.

I listened to some of the game on the radio while I was driving home and even the announcers subtlely point out the absurdity of the line-up we start every game in. dallas had a size advantage in almost every position.

If someone has the time, they should do some sort of averages of 1st quarters since McMinus has started. we start every game in a hole. Even the ones we win. This weekend vs. Memphis we started the game terrible, and while everything shouldn't be pinned down on Vincent/Jeff, it's hard to overlook this on a nightly basis.

I don't think this team will make the playoffs in any year as long as V is our coach. The only chance we'll have is if the rest of the east manages to suck it up even more.

Does anyone have a "Touche play of the game". I really think we need to have fun with this since it's not going to change anytime soon. Jeff is our new Primoz.

No, it is absurd; I was thinking the same thing each time I saw GW out there after a timeout. Maybe with some rest, he would've had enough left in the tank, to knock down the jumper, or finish the layup that would've cut the lead to 1, and had he made both be UP by 1. GW is an absolute warrior (in the sporting metaphorical sense), but with a injured calf, he needed a few minutes of gametime rest.

Also, this insistence of the 2 PG lineup is so damn frustrating; it's killing us. Why the hell doesn't someone (player, management, assitant coach) tell Vincent that when Nazr and Mek are together on the court, great things happen?!?!?!? Also, it has been confirmed that Raymond is not a combo guard, as he can't knock down a consistent jumper to save his life (much less shoot an open 3), but he really is starting to look nice with his drives to the lane, and either finishing, kicking out, or finding the open man underneath when the defense collapses on him. Absolutely NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!!!! EXCUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Admittedly, Howard was knocking down everything in sight early, but with Nazr in the lineup instead of Jeff, I warrant we wouldn't've been down by 13 pts after the first, and, like GW said postgame, be digging ourselves out of that trench all game long.

The players could've made some big plays to enable us to win the games, but with a different coach, there's no doubt we could've won these last two games. There just doesn't seem to be any learning going on with Vincent. The players have grown, by and large, quite a bit since the first couple months, but Vincent, I'm just not seeing it, and it's costing us a potential playoff spot..... :(
