Vincent starts Felton and veteran Jeff McInnis in the backcourt, to exploit McInnis' experience and organizational skills.
Hmm... I'm guessing that what he means is that if you have a really messy linen closet, or if your desk at work is littered with papers and such, then Jeff is the guy you want to help you out with that.
If by organizing the offense, then I'll say that might be correct too, because it seems to me that when Jeff's running the O that everybody pretty much stays in place right where they're at, and the offense stagnates.

"Emeka Okafor is not a true center and puts the Bobcats at a size disadvantage with bigger match ups."
Well...that's just wrong....

We all know what's missing. Nazr Muhammad in the starting line-up.
McInnis out, Muhammad in.

He either really believes it or he is a master bullshitter, I agree we are weak on the bench and Hollins, Davidson, and Duds dont have much experience, look we are 9 games below .500 play the ones that need some experience more than 1 or 2 minutes a game and they just might gain experience so we wont have to play McInnis. RV? do ya read me? McInnis isnt that good and dont help that much and dont shoot that much and really dont do much of anything except force us to play 4 on 5 basketball.... :g:

On Foxsports.com, Charlie Rosen posts his Midterm questions for each team...here's where the Bobcats fare:
Charlotte Bobcats
*What can the Bobcats do to minimize the inadequacies of their point guards — Jeff McInnis and Raymond Felton?
*Is Emeka Okafor ever going to develop a low-post game?
*How to improve the bigs' defensive rotations?
*Since none of the bench players can create their own scoring opportunities, is it at all possible for the Bobcats to run crisper offensive sets to create good looks for Matt Carroll?

Question #1 is hilarious! How's this for a solution, play them both at the same time!

For clarity:
Bobcats moving in wrong direction (http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/7638776)
The Bobcats are only three years removed from their expansionist status, and previous to this season they've made definite progress under the avuncular direction of Bernie Bickerstaff. But with Bickerstaff abandoning the bench and being replaced by Sam Vincent, the Bobcats' steady progress has hit a roadblock.
But it's not Vincent's fault. Indeed, whatever problems the Bobcats are struggling with are due to the fact that it takes more than four years to build a competitive team from scratch.
Raymond Felton: He is certainly the best all-around ball-distributor on the squad. Too bad he can't shoot straight — 4-for-12 (including 1-for-7 on jump shots), eight assists, two steals, three turnovers, eight points — can't defend, and isn't quick enough to play the point.
I think that was his first ever Bobcats' game and I'm thinking that's all he's seen.

I didn't even bother with the article. We need a center that can score. nuff said. I mean seriously, does anybody think that Oak is better at the 5 instead of the 4? Mohammad has been a surprise for me, a good one. I still don't think he is a starting center but you got to play who you can. Maybe we'll turn it around soon.

Antawn Jamison and a young PG via draft to back up Felton next year, and possibly be our PG of the future. Obviously, this is contingent on how well or how poorly we finish the season. Nonetheless, Antawn is a MUST!!! We need consistent post scoring and we need it NOW!!!
Also, coaching adjustments from our.....uh.....coach.
Also, a quality veteran backup C, depending on what Mek does in the offseason.
As I've said countless times this seaon, we're very very close to getting it together as a franchise and making the playoffs an annual occurance, BUT, we're also very very close to falling off the map. The thing is is all in MJ. I think it's been shown that Bob will shell-out for whatever, whomever MJ wants, so MJ and the braintrust of Bernie and Rod will have to make some very smart decisions in the next 10 or so months.... :g:

Agreed Jamison free agent, Draft a first round point . To start or back up Felton. Add in a healthy May and Morrison.
That or draft a p/f Center depending on whats left. Still get Jamisom either way.Sign a cheap decent pro as a back up point. Either way i feel Jamison is a key piece we missing.Him and debt should take us a long way.

The Bobcats will announce this afternoon that they're sending rookie Jermareo Davidson to their developmental-league affiliate in Sioux Falls, N.D.
So this leaves 2 open roster spots now, right?
I wonder what the 'Cats have up their sleeves...if anything.
On another note, did you notice that the team rarely holds full practices now? How 'bout using that bench every now and then, eh Sammy?

Nah, it doesn't free up a roster spot. Remember we could turn right around and call him back up tomorrow.

The Bobcats should look into Charlotte 49ers alum Curtis Withers. He can be a banger in the paint, albeit he isn't THAT tall...but he can board.
On the other hand, Radio doesn't ever play Dudley, so why would he play Withers? Ugh.

He was on out SL team this year or the year before if I'm not mistaken. I like the way he plays and was hoping we would sign him.

Yeah I was excited to see him on the SL team...I loved watching him play at Halton Arena. That dude is a beast on the boards, lemme tell ya, and he can definitely light it up if given the ball in the right situations.

Curtis Withers spent last year in Turkey, in this season after a brief stint in France he returned to Turkish team TTNet Beykoz. This is a mediocre team, and Withers has the averages of 12.5 points and 8.5 rebounds.

No, that's right. Okafor is not a true Center and does provide us with a size disadvantage at Center. Also, he is not a real effective 4 b/c he cannot be a threat from outside of 5 feet. He is kinda a tweener.

What are we missing? An elite PG, a truly powerful Center and a dominant 4. All three must be quality defenders. Place them with J-Rich and Crash, and we are elite. J-Rich's lack of Defense will not hurt us if we have the Defense from the other 3 b/c Crash is fine Defensively.
What we need is not hard to figure out. Getting those people is the hard part.
