On Saturday at 5pm in the Lowe's Home Court area of the Arena, Gerald Wallace will be holding a press conference and would love to share the announcement with his fans.

Michael Thompson is looking for some diehard Gerald fans that would like to attend. They will need to scan their tickets for the game that night (against Philly) at the Beck's entrance. And he will send them a special invitation to the press conference.

He has a limited amount of invitations, so if you're interested please send me a PM and I'll let you know what steps to take.

Charles did mention Crash's name on "Inside the NBA" last Thursday, when speaking about the reserves, but he's a Alabama homer, so I didn't give it much thought.

He can't know by Saturday...the ballots from the coaches aren't due in until Monday. This suspense is killing me.

The real fun now will be to see who gets selected to the reserve teams. Coaches vote only for their own conference team (and they can't vote for their own player). They must include a center, two forwards and two guards on their ballot. They also get to include two at-large spots. Ballots are due Monday, with the final selections announced Jan. 31.
