Its better for him to get some minutes down in the D-League instead of being buried here on the bench. I do wish more of an effort had been made by Vincent to get him on the court for 5 or 6 minutes a game here however.

He was rotting away on our bench so I'm happy to see him sent down to the D-league to get some PT.

Agreed. Now I just wish Dudley would play some.

There is no shame in going down to the D-League, I'm a big believer in "farm systems". Good for Jermareo, hopefully he can develop his skills and get some good burn, then be ready for his campaign with the Bobcats.

Yeah, really, I mean we weren't using him (for some reason...) the experience and confidence he will get playing down there and the drive he'll learn from needing to bust his ass to get back up to the big league will be invaluable. This is probably the best move we can make with him right now.

Im glad to see him sent to the D league, Just to get the burn lord knows he wasn't geting it hear.

But im saying we going to sign somone now . We got to we have no beanch.
Morrison , MAY, Harrington , D.A never plays,Open roster spot from the Nazr trade, Davidson to the Dleague.
That just leaves us
1. Felton . MCINNIS
2 .Rich . Carroll
3. Dudley
4.Wallace
5.Oak. Nazr.
Thats just eight players it's no way we get by with that.
So who are we signing this week any ideas????????????

I think the D-League will help him. i like his offensive moves and rebounding potential, but he kept getting in foul trouble. Hopefully, the D-League will give him some experience on how to play D w/o the fouls.

Dav7z: I agree; we have to sign someone. You did forget Hollins. It seems more often than not that an 8 man rotation is what Coach is playing mostly anyway. He plays our best players, but they will be burned out big time by the end of the season.

Modified: Hey, do you think this may be a precursor to us making a trade? Just a though.

Agreed and i did forget about Hollins. Somthing is up you just don't go on thease long road trips with just 9 players. It's either a trade or we just picking up a man . I don't know. That 3 team trade might be going down Oka, Felton, for a first Gasol Duhan.Manual and some one else.
Its been a lot of rumors about it.

Yeah Davidson had a good game since it was his first game with a new team even if he had 3 TO's and was only 2/8 from the floor. Looks like he is going to be good on defence but has to pick it up on the offensive side of the ball some.... :g:

I agree. What boggles my mind is his FG % in college went down sophmore yr (57%) to Junior yr (47%) to Senior yr (40%). The drop from junior to senior can partially be attributed to the death of his college girlfriend and brother his senior year in November of 2006. Very tragic incident as his brother died of gunshot wounds, and his girlfriend was ejected from a car crash on the way to see his brother.

His head is probably not fully right after that. Could you imagine that happening? That would really mess with my head and I don't know how I would be able to focus fully after that.

How about this... 7-12 from the field, 17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 turnovers in 28 mins... not too shabby Mareo

SuperMario is an NBDL stud. No doubts about it.

I cannot imagine being in Sioux City North or South Dakota (whatever) in January though. Yikes.

LOL I'm gonna buy a Sue City tee-shirt and wear it when he gets back.

Wow you're right! I just Google Earthed it. It's in the NW corner of Iowa on the Missouri River right across from Nebraska and the southeast tip of South Dakota. Yup I'm a nerd.

Sweet. Thats pretty country I think. Des Moines has a restaurant with the best pork chop in the world. Been there! Yes; it is truly a fine pork chop.

Ha, Keetch it happens to the best of us.

Just the other night I was talking to a friend about Jermareo and said "They sent him to the Development League to a team in Sioux City. I think it's in a Dakota or something."

Is a "Waffle T" a shirt with little perforated holes in it or something?

Im pretty sure a Waffle T is a Tee shirt cut like a warmup, because I have a bobcats one and its tight on the wrist but very lose on the neck and a little long. Its what gerald and nazr wear when the shoot around before the game
