I think we all needed that All-Star break. Great weekend for the NBA as a whole. I think next time we'll be represented by at least one player.

Liked the effort against Atlanta. Now we get to play them again - in Kings uniforms!

Friday night. $10 off any $20 seat or more in the upper bowl. Post-game concert. Who's in?

I'm definitely ready to get the guys back out there.
I hope we take it to San Antonio tonight. With Gerald's return, we have the ability. I hope we don't have any rust from the break, but are ready to get right back to work and attack the boards.
Can't be there Friday, but I'll be watching as always.

Fire your coach dude.

Like I said in an earlier post on another thread "same coach, same players, what else did you guys expect?"

Like Stephanie says "I'm ready." Like I told myself in the first 3 seasons, it's NBA basketball for cheap, who cares what the Bobcats look like. But they better win or I'll be depressed.
Michael, any word on when we might host an all-star game? Or are they going to stick to Super-Bowl-esque hosting sites?

We need to Jordan to step up and make some BIG changes here. Fire the Coach and dont be scared to get away from the Carolina players.....

Michael, for the sake of your most loyal fans and the team, Fire Sam Vincent. Where is his improvement?

I paid a lot of money for season tickets. That money was spent to see Raymond Felton, Matt Carroll and Emeka Okafor, amongst others. THAT MONEY WAS NOT SPENT TO SEE JEFF MCINNIS, DEREK ANDERSON AND OTHELLA HARRINGTON.

I'm very close to going ballistic.

I'd rather watch developing rookies anyday rather than over the hill bums that will not get us anywhere. Seeing Othella Harrington play 12 minutes with Dudley playing 10 minutes is beyond belief. Sam Vincent is one of the worst coaching decisions, ever. I've followed the Bobcats just as closely as Ziggy or any other day 1 fan is and we're sick of these decisions. I'd even take Larry Brown and his ego and drama.

Michael Jordan is fast becoming the next Isaiah Thomas.

Why have they not fired this guy yet? Please tell me he's not going to get a free pass this year b/c of injuries, PLEASE.

What else needs to be done for him to get canned?

I don't mind Anderson getting minutes, at least he is productive.

I was about to say, at least anderson can play. the others, not so much. Anderson can score and is a good on defense, play him as a back up to jrich and we really dont need hammer. (Hate to say it, but 6 years for matt carroll was stupid)

Anderson is pretty smart on offense and can play through the idiot coaching, Matt Carroll needs the offense that will set him up of pick and pops with quick open threes, and Sam Vincent doesnt run that, so Matt isnt as useful.

Agree MattD. DA almost always brings energy and sometimes a nice shooting touch. Carroll is scrappy too but has become forgotten in this "offense". Maybe next year....

Exactly right. Even MJ touched on Hammer and what we weren't doing for him. You have to run screens to free him up (or else drive and dish...something we do very little of)...if we're expecting him to continually beat his guy off the dribble then we're in trouble. DA brings veteran smarts.

Well said MattD.

I've noticed multiple times Matt is in the corner calling for the ball WIDE open and we pass to j-rich who is instantly double teamed. Sickening.

Maybe MJ should just take coach Vincent out to the wood shed and give him a good caning. If he get's a caning he might straighten up. If that don't work the organization can have MJ secretly execute him and bury his sorry ass under the floor of Bobcats arena. Lol Just kidding but I have wanted SV gone since about a month ago simply because there is no rhyme or reason behind his coaching and the team seems to have little to no chemistry.

I've been accepting of the idea to give Vincent a chance, but it's gone too far. Who in management is watching this and saying, "Wow, Sammy really coached a good game tonight, too bad Raymond can't hit crazy circus shots at the buzzer. Boy, I wish our players weren't as bad as they are. Oh well"?

You do get that my previous post was a joke don't you?

Of coarse SV should be fired. I felt MJ should have sat down with SV before the season started and given him a goal that must be reached in order to avoid being dismissed. If that goal was not reached by seasons end then Vincent should be fired. My thinking is that this season was seen as a throw away season due to SV being a rookie head coach and player injuries. I feel that is a huge mistake on the part of the front office execs. What SV should have known from the beginning of the season is that this team needed to show steady improvement for him to keep his job after the season. It seems as though Sam Vincent knows his job is safe this year and is letting his arrogance get in the way of seeing that his style of coaching at this point is not working. It is almost as if SV feels that he is above reproach and if he keeps forcing his coaching style down the players throats they will somehow catch on and start winning.

Well, here we are with only a month and a half left to the season and he still isn't having the kind of results he feels he should have. I am sure by the way Jordan and staff are looking at him they use stupid examples like the five game winning streak and the team having a couple wins over teams over 500 as reasons to keep him. That and AmMo and SMay being hurt all year. They will ignore all the bad that has taken place for this team and look at a couple small accomplishments as some kind of sign that SV will be better next year. That instead of seeing what has really taken place this year. MJ is looking as much like a noose around the neck of this team as SV has become!!!!!

Um... yeah.

I think I was agreeing with you.

The guy's a gigantic anchor around the Bobcats' necks.
