View Full Version : McInnis Is The Love Child Of Sam Vincent

::) It seems as though Jeff McInnis and Sam Vincent have some sort of secret connection that keeps McInnis on the court way more than a player of his skills should be and I can't figure out for the life of me what the hell that connection might be. May be Jeff is related to the coach. If that's not the case maybe he is greasing the palm of coach Vincent in order to get all the playing time he is getting. I feel that Felton may be a much better player and point guard than he has been up to this point if he had not spent the better share of is career misused and mismanaged. If coach V had not insisted on starting Mcinnis as much as he has in his first season as an NBA head coach we may not be talking about him being dismissed after only one season. I realize that Morrison and May have been injured all year but lets face it we have hardly seen May anyway and Morrison did not exactly endear us to him in his first season. Regardless, we still have enough talent on this team to do better than we have. We have given up way to many late game blow outs. What a wasted year imo!
When we went and got Earl Boykins I expected that he would get some playing time but his lack of it is ridiculous. He may not be earning much because of poor practices but the guy can't be anywhere near as bad a McInnis. NOBODY at this point could be as bad as McInnis. Boykins at least has a bit of an excuse for a slow start. He had been out of the game for nearly half the season and hasn't been given time to get on track. Earl says he had a few other choices of teams to play for but chose the cats. BIG MISTAKE!! Having to play under Sam Vincent is not good for anybodies career.
Well enough venting I am just disgusted by the ignorance of roach Vincent and the inconsistency of this team.

I don't really understand Sam's rationale. I think Jeff is a good backup, but that is really about it. 33 minutes against SAS with no assist. He ran the point most of the night. Maybe Sam is being instructed by management. I blame the organization and Bernie for the mess we have. For two years we have tried to make Raymond a 2 guard when we drafted him as point guard with our first pick in the 2005 draft. Management and coaching have failed miserably because of no structure and no teaching of the position we drafted Ray for.

I'm only adding this because others have suggested it.
Felton critics say that the reason he plays McInnis so much is because there's noone else on the team who can run the offense and Felton can't get it done.
My response to that is, McInnis can run the offense, assuming there is one.
So, yeah, play Felton.

Im beginning to think that if Sammy Boy comes back next season with the Bobcats then he may have been sand bagging the season using McInnis as his main weapon... :g:
