For the Kings, Mike Bibby is gone, Ron Artest thought he was gone but isn't so its very likely that he won't be happy, The team is 3 games under .500 with no hope of the playoffs in the brutal Western Conference, But there is one thing that the Kings should undoubtably be proud of.... THEIR CHEERLEADERS KNOW HOW TO PARTY :cheers1: :burp: :funkybanana:

If we have fight like we did against Atlanta, we have a pretty good shot of winning, but we have to rebound and play solid defense, which we didn't do last time against these guys....Oh, and hope that Vincent remembers Jeff is his 3rd string PG, and Jared can play more than 10 minutes a game ::)

I think we have a real good chance against these guys. It's just gonna take effort like we did against Atlanta (as Beagle said).

I am not going! I'm moving next weekend, from Salisbury to Charlotte! I'll be 10 mins from the biscuit! Wish I didn't have so much to do tonight and I could hopefully see a whoopin for the Kings. Ziggy I need a link for all those cheerleader pics, I hear they are ridiculous. I think we have a great chance. Sac town isn't what they once were by any means and one good thing about not making any moves at the trade deadline means we don't have to worry about "getting to know you" grace period. Right?

I hope they stomp the Kings tonight...and the concert afterward's gonna rock too

Sadly I'm not going to tonights game afterall (caught a pretty bad cold yesterday ) but hopefully it'll be on TV tonight. Like I said in the Spurs game thread I'm hoping our players will be looking to make up for the sub par showing the other night and play hard on both sides of the ball this wont be a easy one they don't have Bibby but they still have Artest and Martin.

After having researched this Sac King cheerleader incident, I've got to say that's nothing. Panthers Cheerleaders REALLY know how to party... even in public bathrooms.
Now, who feels like beating the crap out of the Kings?

Please learn how to defend those f*cking pick n rolls. I'm not watching the game but I'm predicting it. We've conceded a lot of layups.

Come on guys play some defence... :g:

02-22-2008, 07:42 PM
Do will really have to play The Big OH, and Anderson, while Duley and Davidson sit on the bench.
I am beginning to think Vincent becomes brain dead when he gets on the court.

We should have left Davidson in the d-league, if this is how we are going to develop him.

Anybody see DA run the court??? (and then miss the lay-up on his first try...)

Othella with more minutes than Jared?
Why Sam, Why?

02-22-2008, 07:59 PM
Boykins is coming to life finally :) Nice block by crash. Can Duley get some burn.
Muttley, Anderson should'nt be on the court. We need to develop Dudley and Davison with playing time.

I'm not trying to argue against that.
I'd rather put DA in for Sam Vincent than DA in for Dudley.

No doubt, he would do a better job than Sam Vincent. :)
Crash is having a monster of a first half.
Will it last.

Have Vincent ever used a lineup of:
Felts
Jrich
Dudley

Mek
I don't remerber ever seeing it,but I would like too.

I could have sworn we used that line up during that stint where Dudley was starting I could be wrong though.
Got Channel Surfing to finally work not perfect but it's better than nothing.

If he did use that lineup, we probably was winning, so why stick with it ::)I watched every game, and thought Dudley only started when Crash was out, but I wuold like to see what we can do, with the players with the highest bbiq on the court, and Dudley is one of them.

If we can't reduce the diff to 2-3 points by the end of 3rd quarter, we'll probably lose since we'd possibly lose Wallace for the rest of the way.
Holy crap, this is terrible, it was a concussion.

This game is close, but it seems so far away, yet I sense a victory.BTW why didn't we hire the kings coach again. I don't remember.

Dudley ignites the fire, the game is tied. Thank you Sam Vincent :(

Yup, what a difference Dudley makes, but we need Mek back in the game also.

Wallace concussed? That's no good.
Update: Doctors did a CAT scan and are now doing more tests.
We can take this game, we just gotta keep playing D, and no stupid turnovers.
Well, nevermind, Radio just put DA and McInnis in for Dudley and Carroll. THANKS COACH!

Boykins
McInnis
Anderson
a cold Jermareo Davidson, and
the Big OH.

Please win we lead in the OT from what I see on News 14.
I am one of the proverbial rain clouds here on bobcatsplanet, but man, this season keeps getting darker and darker. Games with no heart, blowout games, terrible Biscuit moments, Crash concussion, overtime heartbreakers.
Someone cheer me up.

How was the last shot? Was it uncontested and planned, or a difficult and mandatory one?
Muttley
02-22-2008, 10:13 PM
McInnis inbounding? He shouldn't have been playing in OT in the first place. Though I like the guy, DA shouldn't have been either. What the hell? I'm so f'in pissed at Sam Vincent right now. I'm convinced he hates Bobcats fans.

Say a prayer for Crash. I know he took a horrible shot to the face, but I am surprised it was a concussion. Hope just a mild one, but it scares me that they had to take him off on a stretcher.
I am proud of the guys. They fought through the injury and shock, and never quit. Great comback to get it to OT. A tough loss, but I am very proud of them.

Grade 3 concussion for Wallace :(
Keetch
02-22-2008, 10:49 PM
Wallace shouldn't have been guarding Mikki Moore. Up to his concussion we had played a 3 guard offense the entire game.
Mikki Moore gives us a perfect situation to play Davidson and Hollins at PF; but of course Davidson wasn't dressed and Hollins got no burn at all. We did have plenty of Othella Harrington though, and even DA at PF, because....after Wallace was taken off we actually went with a 4 guard offense; subbing in DA for Wallace.
Okafor seemed to sleep through most of this game.
Some other moments from watching the Kings telecast:
Early on, commentators noticing that Moore has 5 inches on Wallace and can just shoot over him; but before too long are totally raptured over Crashes defensive play....at least 3 times saying "5th best shot blocker in the NBA!"
Vincent arguing with the refs for a continuation call on a foul (after a missed shot) even though it didn't matter, the Kings were over the penalty limit - Kings commentators laughing.
Boykins nice layup in traffic off of a Dudley steal, then gets owned by ANTHONY JOHNSON on an isolation. Johnson runs right around Othella who can't manage to jump.
When Dudley first came in late in the 3rd (if Wallace wasn't hurt, he never would have played); the Kings announcers were calling him Rook as he started slow; getting burned on 2 backdoor plays in a row. It wasn't long though, when I wrote down this quote from them "Jared Dudley...he's been pretty impressive!"
Someone on the Cats bench must have heard them; as Dudley and Carroll were immediately removed for DA and McInnis. Nice.
Okafor sat a LONG time in the 3rd Q; and even Nazr was confused when he was removed for Othella. Smart lineup to end a 3rd Quarter: Othella/Dudley/Carroll/Felton/Boykins. It just screams out at you: "Garcia for 3!!!"
Mismatches!! Dudley, DA, Wallace on Moore...Othella on anybody...Boykins on anybody...any SG/PG on Garcia...any SG/PG on Artest...thankfully the Kings coach (Theus) missed most of this and decided he'd better match the Bobcats small ball by going small himself; playing only one big through most of the endgame..it kept us in it.
I love NBA coaching and strategy; its so advanced that I know I can never grasp it fully. I am continously humbled before it. Especially the orange variety.

The telecast had lots of shots in the 3rd, 4th and OT of Matt's face as he was called off the court so that Jeff could play. It went from really confused to pissed to laughing at the absurdity.

how many of you saw mcginnis pitching a fit in the 4Q, first at the coach, then at the players at the end of the bench - alll because biscuit finally had the good sense to put in matt? ripping his head-band off, then pouting on the bench. and then, when we need the points the most, biscuit relents and puts mcginnis back in! hey coach, we need to score. uh, we're behind. more of the same.

I very much agree with all this. Like other attendees can attest, it was masoleum silence while Gerald was down. A solid, loud crowd much of the night was just silent...very erie. You could tell it was ugly because there was no movement from the time he was on the floor all the way through his being wheeled out into the tunnel. "I hate you Mikki Moore. You hurt Gerald. You just jealous," is what the girl sitting beside me yelled out, which was priceless :D Last I heard, leaving the arena after the postgame concert was that he had been released from the hospital, so I can only imagine that's good news, though I can't see him playing again for a while (at least a couple weeks, probably? I don't know...) That was just surreal and miserable.
But like ohara says, valiant effort by the guys to fight through the shock of seeing their MVP go out like that, and force an overtime. I hate that Raymond missed the FT, and was so off on that last shot, because he played a helluva game. Likewise JRich coming up massive when he was needed. And when he was out there, Jared was productive and a sight for sore eyes.
Our guys did very well, considering the GW trauma and the person labeled "Head Coach" of the team; if not for this individual, we probably could've won in regulation because Jared would've been logging more minutes, and Jeff would've been logging little time; but that said, our guys have no say in that matter, so they did what they could, and really got "The Biscuit" rockin' at the end of the 4th and in OT, and that's really all you can ask for at this point in the season...
