I never thought i would say it . But deep down right now im thinking hell why not. Im thinking the coaching has gone to hell. The hustle we used to pride our self on is gone. Im just thinking if no one else gives a damn why not tank the rest of the season and go for that golden draft pick.
I found myself thinking last night in the game we would just be better off to lose. Never thought i would think that way.
I say devolop Dudley, and Davidson , Carroll
If we win ok ,if we lose the season has all ready went shit any way.
Would like to know if any one else feels that way because im not a fan of tanking.
THOUGHTS//////////?????????

Well I think the way management is behind V that they may already be doing that and thats why V is still here....But I could be wrong too.... :)

Landing Beasley, DJ or Rose would make me forgot about this subpar ass season.

With Wallace out, JRich having only one eye now, and most of all with Sam Vincent as head Coach, I don't think we need to actively DO anything to achieve losses. Tanking is a sad, sad, and pathetic thing for professional athletes to be doing. So, we'd better not be trying to tank this season, because it's still not a guarantee that we get the pick we want. However, it could be the reason that management hasn't canned V yet. Let him solidify his "I royally f'd this up" status as a coach, so there's no question why we should fire him over the summer.

If we were to get beasley and fire FHB then we will be EXPECTED to make the playoffs! I mean can you imagine this lineup:

PG-Felton(If he is still Here)
SG-Richardson
SF-Wallace
PF-Beasley
C-Okafor

WOW!!! :O

The firing is the key aspect. Vincent could still screw it up, even with that line-up.

and we need a full health wallace. Plus who knows someone jeff might work his way into the lineup. He seems to do that.

Also... starting lineups only are so much. I think we need a better point gaurd. Felts at backup would be solid. Nazr, Jermar, and Carroll, along with Duds could be a very strong bench. We really arent that bad. What is wrong with SV? seriously. I think Beasly+one solid sixth man/ maybe felts and a good pg and we have a pretty good team

3 key pieces. I would trade felts for another pick and go for a pg after beasly (granted we have to get the number 1 pick... about that....).

I dont think its the players tanking, I think its the line ups and everything else that FHB is calling and I think he may doing it on purpose because if you watch him on the side lines he just sits there like he dont have a worry in the world..... :g:

Yeah, our players look too frustrated to be tanking most of the time. Plus they have that character flaw known as "integrity."

I think if you hear that Crash is being sidelined for the rest of the season, that may be what is happening. It is a legitimate cover, and gives Dudley some extra playing time. You cannot really call if "tanking", but it is very close to it.

I think Beasley and Rose are the 2 main targets we focus on. Word is starting to downplay DeAndre Jordan. From what I have read in diffferent areas, many are saying Brook Lopez of Stanford may actually move ahead of him in the Draft. Probably just depends on how he looks when the top 5 teams in the Draft have them come in for evaluations.

what are we doing with Boykins. It looks like V is playing the same rotation we were doing in novemberish. 7 ppl play per game.

I say we still have a chance. Around 7 games away from getting up there. Don't give up hope though. We always develop our rookie players in this area of the season so something big might happen soon.

Sucks how we didnt do beans for a good trade before the all star break =/

It's not called tanking if you are not good enough to win.

It's called sucking.

NO DRAFT dammit!!!

Trade the pick.

We need to get another Established player like we did with Richardson. ( Not meaning getting a Scorer ) I would suggest a Established Big.

May and Morrison will come back and give us reliable Depth and Wallace and Richardson will perform well with that. Okafor and Felton will open up as well. Be patient.

Mohammed and Boykins will be effective next year too.

I agree with dav7z 100% ! ! !

I don't say Tank, I say get the young guys some PT. Hollins, Davidson, and Dudley get more time.

The rest of the season we play like Pre Season. Play the starters the first half then have the young guys close.

no tanking. v is already doing equivalent damage.

If it was ever a year to tank it would be this one. With all the nectives this year. Beasley would be due justice. Even though i have never been in favor of tanking im starting to rethink things this year

Felton
Rich
Wallace
Beasley and Jamison
Okafor

Reason enough to tank
