Tonight is an exciting night! We have a chance to break this losing trend once and for all!
The headlines leading into the game are Chris Bosh's sore knee, and more importantly Raymond FINALLY getting the reins on the team as the starting point guard.
We have injuries on our bench as well, most notably the horrific Crash concussion. If you want to send get well letters to Gerald, see the Bobcats Talk board for details. Gerald is listed to miss a couple more weeks as he recovers. Will he be the same player? Will he abide by Sam "Ham Biscuit" Vincent's request to change his style of play? I can vouch for many people in hoping that response is a stout no.
Tonight our struggle will be the passing from Jose Calderon, as he's rivaled to few for his ability to take care of the ball, and is one of the surprise stories of the year. Bosh, if healthy, will also give us fits as he always gives us fits of rage.
Secondly, will Raymond be able to take over entirely and prove to the world his value as a #5 pick? Toronto has never been kind to him, as he's only shooting 29% against them in his career, and his last game against them he couldn't even hit a shot even if the hoop was the size of a swimming pool.
Tonight I think we pull out the win, led by Felton and Matt Carroll, who will pace the team with 22. J-rich will also have 17 and 7.

Thanks for getting the game thread started Bumpus!
The Bobcats are due for a win (overdue actually). I feel that today will be the day that they put a good game together and win despite the coaching of Hammy.

Not looking too hot right now. We need to start hitting shots.

So far it's all Jose-to-Rasho's. We won't win unless we stop these easy baskets.

Watching Davidson hustle around the court is fun.

At the moment, Jose-to-Rasho's transformed into TJ-to-Kris'. The output is same.

We've erased the 10 point deficit at the end of 1st period. Good effort

Yeah, too bad for Moon's shot, but we're only down by 1 at the half. I like the effort I'm seeing. Jason's pretty awesome.

Raptors lead 49-48 at the half. Fortunately we're keeping the game close. I guess it'll be so till the end.

I spy PRIMOZ!
The TSN announcers seem to love him. Good. I hope they enjoy him for years to come. I'm glad he's not playing for Charlotte.
UPDATE:
4 fouls is 8 minutes for Mr. Brezec!

Awesome game! The whole team played well.
Loved Felton's play, he just shot it too much. I liked seeing 8 assists and only 1 TO though

Great Game! All out good effort from the guys!
Ray 17 pts and 8 assts; Matt with 15 and 6, Okafor with 14 and 15, J-Rich with 30 and 7 and Dudley with 17 and 10. Great effort! We won 2nd chance pts by 30 - 0, or thats what it was mid way thru the 4th.

Absolutely a great game from just about everybody. So good to see.
How about that slam from Hollins?

I have to say, those announcers got me tickled saying that Primoz was just as good as Nazr and they really like him. They just haven't gotten the opportunity to watch him for long as we did. By the end of the season, they will be calling him a jackass.

Can't say anymore than what's said above!! Bee-yoo-tee-full!!!!! It's like night and day with the new lineup. Makes one wonder where we could be if this common-sense lineup had been starting all along. Only caught the last 6 minutes of the game on channelsurfing, but I got to see Raymond dishing the ball leading to scores (Hollins slam was sweet as all; his foul with .4 was...uh....not so much ::) ), JDuds knocking down a 3 and just being all over the court as usual, and the team just absolutely taking it to the Raptors. We've still got quite a few lumps coming our way (namely that brutal west coast trip Part 2), but that was a great win, and maybe we can put together a perfect homestand with wins against GS and Atlanta and have our first 3 game win streak of the season!

I agree, but did you see how all the Cats were waiting in line to hug and talk to him after the game? I thought it was very interesting, considering his well-known statements about "Coach". I think that proves that Primoz obviously wasn't the only player who feels that way about the guy pacing the sidelines. I really enjoyed seeing that at the end of the game.

LOL; figures first time Im away on a fishing trip we go and win great job guys! Ray just needs to improve his FG % and he is going to be fine. As far as Primoz and the announcers goes, you's think they would at least have "Primoz Cam"...
patented primoz spectacular tonight
4 points, 4 fouls.
No, i don't miss it, i don't miss it at all
Good job tonight boys. Solid fundamental play. And I feel pretty good about it. We didn't have Crash, they didn't have CP4. Equals out.

Wonderful game! Lots of exciting plays, and we've already started moving to a more fluid style of play. Let's hope it's not a one game apparition.
Jermareo showed that he has the potential to bang down low a little bit, although he's still got a WAYS to go in that department. I loved seeing Dudley scrap for rebounds. JRich had the quietest 30 points of the season, despite a couple of crowd pleasing long balls. Felton played solid, if unspectacular. Carroll was fun to watch too.
Plus, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Keetch once again. He is the inspiration for my new signature.
Go Bobcats!!

Ryan Hollins is pure entertainment. Every team needs some of that!
Not very good at basketball; but so long as no one gets hurt; pretty darn funny.
Unlike Primoz; who is also not very good at basketball; and also not very entertaining; unless you love pain.
