Why does the I.R.S. hate me?

I'm spending this beautiful Sunday afternoon working on my taxes, and I just have one question. Why does the I.R.S. hate me??? What have I ever done to them?

Don't worry Ziggy, the IRS hates everyone, it's their jobs. Without being too political on here, but that's why progressive taxes suck. The more you make, the more you get burned.

On a lighter note, do you itemize your taxes?

I itemize, I'm going to try to work up my nerve to continue on my taxes later this week.

Do you utilize an online service like TurboTax, or TaxSlayer?

I've been using Turbotax for the last few years, and honestly its pretty decent software but for whatever reason the thought of working on my taxes makes me sick to my stomach... Its like that every year.

You should just pay someone to do your taxes for you. I've been doing that because I'm illiterate when it comes to taxes (itemizing...what?) so it's beneficial for me to have them do it. I just turn in my papers and I'm DONE.

TurboTax is great software if you enjoy doing your taxes (I love that stuff).

But like Bumpus said, I also know a few people that just like to gather their info and hand them to a pro.
