With our ALL STAR caliber point guard FINALY getting to do his thing along with a true two guard who is averging over 16 points per game in a starting role. The Bobcats WILL take care of bisness with out ALL STAR Wallace.
Dudley with a double /double in his last game is all so ready to make his presence felt, finally getting consistent playing time.Things are starting to look up even with Wallace out. We win again on the road.Read about the confidence the two starting guards have in each other.

Thanks for getting the game thread started up Dav7z!
Just a thought...base our starting offer to Mek on how well Al Jefferson plays tonight.

The Emeka Vs. Jefferson is the match up I'm most looking forward to seeing tonight hopefully Mek comes out looking to prove a point like he seemed to want to do the other night against the Raps. JSwish and Felts should have there way with the T-Wolves guards tonight.
Also looking forward to seeing my boy McCants hoping he has a bad game just for tonight though

I love the attitude of this post, dz!!! I agree, this is a win for the taking, though we really do have to bring it tonight; Minnesota is a vastly improved team from the beginning of the season.
I agree, Chef, that's going to be a very interesting matchup to watch.
I'll also be interested in seeing what Corey Brewer's up to. I admit I was very high on him, and really wanted him to be a Bobcat if he was available when we picked, but I haven't heard the first thing about him this season.
Anyways, I'm with dz, let's put together a good winning streak before he go live on the road in a week!!!

Same coach, no McInnis, makes a better line up for the Bobcats, playing the Timberwolves in their house. We should win this as long as Ham Biscuit dont freak us all out with crazy lineups..... :g:

Did you see where Crash was cleared for shooting practice only? Improvement, but still some issues so not cleared for regular practice. Saw this on rotoworld.com

Have to love what Carroll and Dudley are doing for us. These guys will be very important bench players next season, and they are starting to assert themselves. I am wondering, is it too late for this season?

109 -89 is a good victory for us, we needed it as much as Ham Biscuit needed it too... :g:

We have an outside shot but we would have to play the best we've ever played to pull it off..... :g:

IF Nets lose tonight, we are only 5 games out. A lot of teams to pass, but we are really playing good ball right now!

According to http://www.nba.com/playerfile/othella_harrington/career_stats.html
That's a career high for him >_>
To anyone who got to see this one:
Felts shooting % was awful, but he went to the line a ton and made them. Were lots of these FG misses on fouls. Sometimes I think that muddies up his FG%. He has a tendency to drive, get hammered, and put up an ugly one while getting fouled.
Also, how was our flow tonight? 20 point win for us is big, no matter who it is. We're the Wolves that bad or us that good?
I love seeing Carroll back in the swing. Why always in the 2nd half of the year?
Golden State is putting on clinics out here in the east. Tomorrow should be interesting.

We were hitting shots, as simple as that. However, maybe not quite so simple, as our offense seemed to... uh... exist. There was flow and our shooters were benefiting. On top of that, Emeka continued to work, and Nazr had some good moments early on.
Can't say enough about Matt and Jared. Those guys are where it's at.
In all, a team effort produced a victory. Good to see, though a little later in the season than I would have liked to see it.

See what the lack of Mcinnis does for you?

The story of the game was just what i thought with our VERY NICE point guard posting his second DUBLE/ DUBLE in a row. Two of his turnovers came playing the stupid SMALL line up in the 3rd. I will take 13 and 10 from him ever night.
Carroll a 16 to 18 point scoring threat EVER night. Hammer finaly geting a chance to show why he got that six year contract. Did any of you guy notice Hammer and Dudley asking Felton questions in the time outs?
Dudley Mr. everthing ill just call him the garbage man. He all ways seems to be in the right place at the right time.Great game
Ok50 FIGHTING FOR THAT MAX contract it may be to little to late.
But he is still having some nice games lately.
Does thease players not seem to have better chimestry with out Mcinnis?

Check out the quotes on the main site. The team seems rejuvenized and they sound like they're having fun.
They sound like a team.
Bobcats Take Second Straight (http://www.nba.com/bobcats/recap_timberwolves_080304.html)
Vincent:
“I was really happy with the way they were sharing the ball, the way they were moving the ball, the way they were talking to each other,” said Bobcats Head Coach Sam Vincent. “The spirit is just really good on the floor because they are doing all the little things, and those little things are making a big difference for us right now."
"We haven't had that kind of chemistry (on the road) during the course of the year," said Vincent. "It is nice to see the guys really picking each other up and talking to each other, helping each other. (Winning on the road) continues to build our confidence."
Hammer:
“We're getting touches and not only are we getting touches, we're getting good looks, too,” said Carroll. “We're spreading the court and when you've got Emeka (Okafor) and Nazr (Mohammed) who are both low-post players in there, it's giving them both a chance to work down low because we have so many shooters surrounding them.”
"(Dudley) is playing with a lot of energy,” said Carroll. “I think one thing is that our chemistry has been good lately. We're all pulling for each other and wanting to see each other do well. It feels pretty good, feeling excited for your teammates and playing with more emotion. I think it's kind of contagious."
JSwish:
"It's big for us,” said Jason Richardson as he talked about the win. “It's been a tough season on the road this year and to get a road victory the way we did tonight with everyone playing, everybody contributing, that's big for us."

That's good stuff to hear. Hell, if I didn't know any better I'd say that Vincent sounds half-way competent. Though, he's not saying much.

I'm beginning to think McInnis was a locker room cancer. They are playing team ball right now, and it looks and feels good, I'm proud of the young guys. :)
Why did it take soooooooooo long for anyone to notice?
So was it Sam Vincent, or Jeff McInnis, who sucked the life out of this team?

I get it now; They were teaching Felton how not to play by playing McInnis at point.....
