Thanks again Dav7z for getting the game thread cranked up.
I would love to see J-Rich go for about 45 against his former team.
HE deserves a big night.

What a 2nd qtr! If we can have a 3rd and 4th like it, we walk away with the game. But, I'd settle for just one more qtr like that, and then a descent qtr.

I don't know if he'll drop 55, but surely he'll outscore Gerald Wallace's club record 42 points. It's been a very tight game, a very exciting 4th quarter is waiting for us.

Wonderful game, mind boggling personal stats (as expected since GS plays no defense at all), one of the most notable wins of Bobcats history.
J-Rich matched franchise high with 42 points, he broke a FH in shot attempts with 31. Also Dudley's 18 rebounds are only 1 shy of Bobcats FH for most rebounds for a rookie category (Okafor had 19 rebounds twice in his rookie season.
Also great games by Felton, Okafor and Boykins. I feel so satisfied.
Richardson sent his message to Mullin on the court. I wouldn't want to be a Warriors fan at the moment.

Awesome game! Ray was solid; Matt was solid and Boykins helped, too. J-Rich was onl fire! Teach them to make a trade for him again! Dudley! 10 pts and 18 reb! The man!
Okafor, take the ball to the hoop hard! Take it like a man, damn it! Quit pussy footing around in there and missing lay ups! I was yelling at you all night!

I just got back, but I have to say, I am really disapointed about two things:
A. Earl Boykins got 19 minutes. When he plays with Felton, it is really stagnant, when he plays without felton, there is more rotation and movement in the offense. He also is blindingly quick and can score. The guy is better then Ray, the reason Jrich had 42 is largely due to the way Boykins was able to open up the holes, his assists may not show it, with only two, but seriously he knows how to run the team.
B. Jason Richardson touched the ball like 2 times in the fourth. Seriously? He had been burning them. With Felton at the point he wasnt able to get the same looks. there really is hardly any movement beyond a high pick and roll, not exactly quality offense, and Ray has too much of a tendency to put the whole load on his shoulders and carry us. Tonight, it worked, will it work always, I dont know, but I do know Jrich should have been getting up more shots. (On that note Jrich did have a couple assists in the 4th too so it was still good)
C. (Yeah a third one actually too) Mek make a damn freethrow more often!
To the positives:
Jrich, Jrich, and maybe somemore Jrich, he was not losing that game.
We WON!
Mek played solid d and hustled, which I like to see
Dudley played a great game, 18 rebs and 6'7 are you kidding?! He could be our undersized PF, he deserved every minute of the 42 he played.
Overall solid hustle, the refs were crazy, but we managed to pull it out.
Im not too disappointed. Lets keep this going... dare I say the playoffs arent that far out of reach!

Like i said early Team ball, team ball, team ball,
Mcinnis gone we have become a team.
Got to love a cold Matt Carroll 2 for 10 but pulling down 11 boards and four steal thats big.
Dudley 18 boards This kid didn't even play in Mcinnis days.
Felton LEADING the team 22 points and six assist. Sounds like a point guard two me.
J Rich scoring 42 does more need to be said.
BIG TIME team effort. I think we might just get our 4th in a row Team ball i love it.

Yeah, Matt Carroll getting more rebounds (in double digits) than points is a sure sign that that kid's at least got his head on right an is all about the team. He's hustling even when he's not scoring... which brings me to the next fella,
3D again! Dudley Double-Double! 18 rebounds! Anyway to give this kid MORE than 41 minutes??? Nah, let's allow him a little rest.

Sometimes I think that Raymond Haterade is on tap at Bobcats Arena. Are any of the posters here the guy a couple of rows behind be who does nothing but scream "put Boykins In!!!!!!!" for 48 minutes? He doesn't let up. At all
Super psyched about this win though. It says alot that we beat a team that is so offensively minded. Those games are usually the toughest for us.
JRich is the man. Absolute beast on some nights. If the world were fair, the American sports media would at least mention this thrashing of his former team, but we here on the boards as well as the Warriors fans are the only ones who will ever really know.
Go Cats! Let's beat the Hawks this Friday! 4 game streak! We can do it!

It wasnt me, but I heard him... and I thought he was right... boykins played really, really well in the 2nd and then got hardly anything in the third.
I dont hate ray, but I think that Earl is better. When Ray plays PG there is a lot of dribbling at the top of the key, and the offense hardly moves, then ray drives and pops for a jumper from the key... Not my choice for offense for this team. Sometimes he does great, but he needs to tone down some of his jumpshots in my opinion.

Boykins did play well and does spread the floor some. He shot the ball well tonight to. But it's NO WAY i want him and Felton playing at the same time. Its NO ball movement with both in toghter. Felton has proven he needs to be the point the rest of the season 22points and six assist tonight is not bad.Dudley and Carroll both feed off him . Hes a LEADER and now hes finaly geting that chance. Hes a winner . He won at UNC and will win hear given the chance. Hes had two straight DUBBLES AND 22POINTS AND SIX ASSIST TONIGHT and people are still saying hes not a point. Hes three and one after being give the keys to the point position. Give the kid a chance hes doing great in my opinion.

Dav I agree with you, I like Felts starting at point and I like Boykins coming in off the bench in relief. I liked our line up tonight and MJ looks more and more like a very shrewd bussiness man by getting J-Rich draft night.

Right from the get-go, Felton seemed pretty intimidated by Baron Davis; but he worked it out.
Felton is the man.
For the first time, Boykins really impressed me. He made a truly SICK ball-fake-reverse layup in the second quarter and some very nice feeds underneath.
This had to be the worst officiated NBA game I've ever seen. Just horrible. I was literally standing up middle-fingering them and screaming FU! during one stretch I was so pissed. And I don't do that...
If Okafor can make a freaking shot; we win going away.
Everything else has been well said. I almost don't want Wallace to come back. Our offense moves better without him.
Phenomenal game.

I think we could still make it but we would have to play much better than .5oo ball and see what happens.
If we beat Atlanta we should be some where around three games out. Give or take one. Playing team ball we can make it four in a row easy.

I'm wary of talking/thinking about the "p" word just yet (been burned by it before), but Dav7z, when you're right, you're right, and you, you're right. If we play team ball we can win games and move up in the standings. I think we can win games, but we're gonna have to do it on the road.

That's why we won't make playoffs. I don't want to be perceived as a whiner, but come on. 14 of 21 remaining games are on road and we're still 4 games out of 8th spot.

Playoffs would be nice but like you im more concerned about our quility of play. Four games out with the nets playing like they are we still have a shot. Atlanta is very big if we beat them we in the hunt. Playoffs or not inproved play is my main concern.
