21 games to go and we're 4 games out of the 8th seed in the east.

After the horrid month of February its a miracle that we're actually in the playoff discussion. Its a miracle, but I'll take it.

The last time that we played the Hawks, Emeka had a nice 20/20 game, Ray had 22 & 7 and amazingly T.A.F.K.A.J.M. (The Artist Formerly Known As Jeff McInnis) hit the game winning shot. It was a good time

What do you think folks, Are we going to get a win Friday night?

We have to win if we're trying to get to the palyoffs

GO BOBCATS!

The way we've been scoring lately... I think we win, but it's gonna take the same effort and "team ball." (though I'll take more of either)

We all starting to fall in love with this thing called [TEAM BALL] This is a game we in despret need of.
W e match up well except at P/F Dudley should and could take care of that given the chance. OK50 needs a big game.
We take our win streak to four and catch the free falling Nets by the end of next week. Witk Kid gone they falling like a rock. All we need is team ball and the Eight spot is ours for the taking.

Bobcats blow out. Carroll a season high and Felton posting 20 and 10. OK gets his 20 10 too. Rich down a little only scores in the low twentys. and Dudley coming up big again. with another dubble .

If we play like the last 3 games, we win. We need solid games from Ray, Okafor, J-Rich, Carroll & Dudley. Any help from Nazr on the inside to give Horford trouble will only be an added bonus.

This is a huge game. We have to continue the momentum. We must protect our house.

if it wasn't for our shitty 1st quarter play we'd be 10 wins better this season

luckily they aren't up by 15 yet...and wtf is up with our shot selection? we aren't even getting good lucks...just dribble dribble shoot

A nightmare-like 1st quarter ended. This is a bad habit to always start games loose. Even if we win today, Vincent has to talk to players seriously about these 1st period craps.

My favorite part about this is that JRich has been relatively quiet. Our guys are getting it done without a Herculean effort by JRich.

Also, Felton has looked considerably more in control this game than in previous games. A few times he's driven only to change gears, slow down, and do something else. That's what we need: Felton playing quick but in control!

And of course, our shooting has been bananas!

Overall, very exciting game.

Awesome!!! 4 wins in a row, and a rare double digit victory!!

Next stop: a Wizards team minus Caron Butler and of course missing Hibachi. We need to win this one and get our longest winning streak ever! We also need this one as we head out to a tough road stretch of Dallas, Houston, and Cleveland.

If we can beat those teams we can make a major statement.

End of the first scared me a lot.
I am really surprised by both Carrol and Felton. Both are stepping it up since Gerald's consussion.
Right now, I am happy to be a Bobcat fan.
Now lets get ready for tommororrow!!!

exactly what I was thinking... it was fun, carroll was really hot, and Felts played well.

Boykins though, I will keep on saying it, he needs more minutes, he played really well, set up a lot of plays, penetrated, kicked, and scored. I like it.

Also I saw a lot of good team work, and good camaraderie, including with (gasp) the coach.

Actually, I think he's being used pretty well. One thing to consider is the fact that Boykins is a defensive liability because of his height. However, by playing him the way Vincent is playing him, Boykins can come in and disrupt the other team without the team figuring out how to exploit Boykins' height. Boykins is also a streaky shooter who can shout you back into games, but also shoot you out. By putting him in for limited doses, he reenergizes the team without hurting us.

I don't know if all that makes sense. But, I'm happy the way he's being used; he's been quite effective. I don't think he's all that impressive of a point guard in general. However, he's pretty solid as a spark off the bench.

Best part about Boykins is he isnt nothing like McInnis and he plays a heck of alot better than him too. :g:

We beat the Wizzards tomorrow and set a Bobcat RECORD with five wins in a row . We playing team ball and it's not to late to make the playoffs.

Saw this one live. The crowd actually got loud during our few runs where we would distance ourselves. We shot lights out for a few quarters. Felton made some nasty dishes down to Mek and was feeling it tonight. Right before the end of the 1st half when he strolled up and casually fired that three. That was sick. And no one mentioned the hey also blocked the crap out of however tried to do the halfcourt heave from the Hawks (I don't remember who it was) right after the sick three. You don't see that often.

I wonder if the haters die a little inside when he has a good game.

Another great moment tonight. Carroll's 3rd quarter buzzer beater. The place goes wild when he gets hot. Boykins was great off the bench and him and Nazr were the only thing going early on. Even the Boykins/Felton pairing was decent while it was on.

Terrible, awful refs. Tons of 100% wtf moments in this game.

I think if tonight's play is sustained through tomorrow we can beat a Butler/Arenas-less Wiz. If they decide to take a night off and coast then they won't beat anybody.

Let's not let that happen. Go cats!

LOL CMc$ did you see the one in the first quarter where Joe Johnson just ran into Dudley, nearly knocking him down; my arms go up as Delaney blows his whistle and I yell "Jeez Ya Think?!" but Delaney calls Dudley for stepping in? "Bullshit!!" Dudley was just standing there guarding the inbounds pass. Man lately the refs are just beating the crap outta me; not sure I can take much more of this. Their turning me into a very angry old man. I'm dying of hopelessness out there putting up with this; no idea how the team can handle it.

I just hope security doesn't walk me out one night.

I'm liking Boykins energy off the bench. He's really running well now. Earl Boykins is not Jeff McInnis. When he comes in the game does not slow down one bit.

That said; can we stop trying to trade off Felton? The guy is playing great. What more can you ask from your point guard? I think he's totally rewarding those who had his back through the Vincent-McInnis disaster. Disaster?? Good God how awful does that seem now that we can see how this team can play.

Why Sam? Why did you do that to us? We could have been rocking and rolling with this group all year; instead we had touche high dribbling to half court and setting up the weave with a useless SG named Felton. What a sham. What a waste.

Carroll and Duds got the brunt of the hideous calls. There were two times imparticular that a hawks player fell without a player in fouling distance, they werent even flops and the refs would blow the whistle. You would see them fall, think to yourself "dear God there is no way he's going to do it" and sure enough the whistle blows (and so does the ref). Booing ensues.

Yeah, poor Carroll is really getting abused...against the Warriors in the first half, he made a nice 3 right off the bench, but the ref took it away because he kicked one leg out a little and barely touched the defender...Freaking Madness...

Silly Keetch, don't you know that since Felton is a "Tar Hole" that he is automatically entered into "suck list" that is irreversible and everlasting? Also, please refer to May being fat every time you mention that you don't like Raymond. It is a super-burn and no one will catch the drift of why you don't like those two players.

In all seriousness, after these past 4 games I have to say I'm happy with our guys. I'd love to have Fabio back and playing him, but minus that I have to say that we've truly been blessed by getting rid of Jeff and Primoz!

Holy crap. I mean think of how big that is. They could possibly be the two worst players on any NBA roster, it was our roster, and now they are off it. Hallelujah.

TEAM BALL!

I love it. The hits just keep on coming. I also agree with Tamb that the best part is that JRich only scored a handful, but the points still came from elsewhere! Now it's time to see if we can really continue this on the road.

Well, when Ryan "The Nut" Hollins slung a t shirt up to me at my 107 perch (you could tell be the maniacal smile on his face it was one of those 'Bet you don't think I can get it to you' things), I was first of all, thankful he didn't throw his arm out of socket, and secondly knew this was going to be a good night!

This game was definitely up there with the last Hawks game, and the Orlando comeback in January, but it was even more special considering what's taking place with the team: they are flippin' fun to watch. First quarter aside, it was a thing of beauty. Confidence is actually tangible out there!

Let me just say, our core is there and they are good!! We have a PG of the future and his name is Raymond; screw drafting a PG with our 1st rounder. If we could somehow land Kevin Love in the draft (assuming he comes out) watch out!! Matt Carroll is finally given the PT to show all doubters that the contract was slightly overpaid, but well worth it!! JD is top 5 rookie, experts be damned!

Best moment of quite a bunch of best moments: The last play of the 3rd quarter, where Matt comes off a Othella screen, JD finds him on the curl, and Matty buries the thing right down the middle!! Matt's pumping his fists and jumps into Othella's meathook arms. That was a great scene, and it's good to see old man Harrington playing hard and helping in his own way during this streak. What was even cooler was when I watched the postgame video on bobcats.com, Matt revealed that it was a set play, not from "coach" but between Othella, Matt and JD. Very cool story, and Othella has risen quite highly in my estimation as of late!! Yes, I said it. It's the world turned upside down, and I'm loving it!!!!!

I'm so hoping for the historical #5 tomorrow night, but 'til then, I'll bathe in the afterglow of this W.

Oh, and yes, the refs were phenomenally bad again, even up to the end when the called a "clear path" foul against JD when he was obviously just going for the ball against the Hawk. A foul? Maybe. But no way was it a clear path; the Hawk was not even past JD, and JD was not stopping the guy from getting a breakaway layup or dunk!! Also, the JD foul that Keetch was complaining about, and rightfully so, was not even conducted the correct way. A foul off the ball before it has been inbounded should result in one free throw and the ball out of bounds, unless I'm terribly mistaken, and I don't think I am because I've seen that call about 5 times this season in other games, so I'm guessing those 5 times were right, and this singular instance was another brainfart by the stellar crew "working" tonight ::)

I just watched the postgame video. The best part was easily when Matt was quoting Othella telling him that he's gonna get the shot. Confidence from Othella is a sure sign that the others must be feeling it too. This also tells us that the Big OH is putting some effort into his screens. From the way Matt was talking, it seemed like Othella had a "Ain't nobody coming through me" attitude, which is both funny and great to hear about Oldfella. If he's gonna take that attitude towards everything, then he can be a help to this team for the rest of the season when used in small quantities.
