I hope that he catches on with some team and makes good use of all of that talent.
Come to think of it, We have no need for another 2 guard but if we could get him for nothing :g:

another high flyer to the bobcats resume... might be nice, but thats the thing that makes great players and breaks talent, how hard you work.

Case and point Kwame Brown, had talent, didnt work hard, didnt get anywhere.

Take him for the rest of the season...give him a flyer.

Since he was released after the March 1 waier deadline, none of NBA teams are eligible to sign Gerald Green. But I guess he'll find another home in the next season. But since we have other priorities in the offseason, we should look at him after we'd be all done with Okafor, Felton etc.

Should we sign him? He would fit nicely here with Richardson, Carroll, Wallace. We need another G/F for the rest of the season if we want to maken the playoffs since Morrison is still out.

Interesting... I remember how some very badly wanted to draft him. I wonder if maybe he has some off court issues or bad influence in the locker room to be released already. I noticed he hasn't done a whole lot in his time in the league. Whats the scoop? Any way we would be interested or should we be interested?

I'd want no parts of him..there's no reason a player that gifted should be a free agent. There's a problem right there.

Thought that the March 1st waiver deadline only meant players claimed off waivers weren't eligible for the playoffs.

That's true, my fault. I had conceded in another thread.
