Well maybe we can win this one and stay to my predictions.

We're 24-42 Memphis is 15-50
Too bad we didnt get Gasol somehow, but there are worse things to consider.

Tonight we still have to deal with this joker all over again....

Maybe we still have a chance anyways. Just a joke Ladies and Gents..... :g:

We should be able to kick their butts tonight, no excuses.....

Must win game for us point blank some things I'm hoping to see is another big game for J-Rich, an active in the offense game from Hammer, Ray getting his teammates involved and getting into the paint and Wallace being Wallace (minus the falling on the floor) this is OUR game.

As much as I love Gerald wallace, we are 0-3 since he came back and MC has done nothing. I wonder what would happen if MC played more and Gerald alot less?

Didn't we have to deal with him last game? It seems like we're always playing against him.

Earlier this season we did.

That list consists of only Phoenix and Dallas now.

I agree, must win. The grizz are bad but somehow Mike Miller beats us. He usually has a good game against us and I can't stand it. Bobcats should win this one walking away. Too bad every time i say that they stink up the joint or the other team play like Phoenix Pre-Shaq.
Come on Cats, must win if you want to get in the playoffs, don't listen to Sam, he really doesn't know what he's talking about.

This story about DA Accidentally getting J-Rich's shorts is hilarious. Is it all about the shorts? DA with 9 early. Henry Williams makes a stellar return to the airwaves with "It's allways good to perform in another man's shorts"

DA is wide open tonight or what? Is he hoping for a contract next season? Keep it up DA.... :g:

Maybe they should let "Coach" wear those shorts.

Down 4 with 5 left in the 3rd. You know, if it weren't for us, then teams like Chicago, Memphis, and Atlanta would probably never win at all.

Does this team know consistency? Why so streaky? I'm not asking for much. This season is over. I'm not even asking for 500 ball. Just a win every now and then, versus a team that is 15-50, please.

That being said, we did get blessed with that 5 game streak. A freaking out of body experience for Bobcats fans. That, and this game isn't over yet. We could still win.

This season has been such a disappointment I'm almost to the point where I say blow it up. I love all our guys, but they just aren't getting it done. No sense in pointing the blame, just get rid of the core group and let's rebuild a la Minnesota.

You always need to move forward. Despite the Bobcats not being "there" yet, there was marked improvement every year. This year, with an even weaker than normal Eastern conference we stink it up even worse. If Ham Biscuit is coaching I will not, i repeat, will not buy a single ticket next year.

Rant is over now.

Can we infer anything from the fact that the 3 game "swingman" package comes with an okafor jersey? Maybe get any $ from him before trading him?

This game may be a new low for the team! When DA and Dudley are your 2 leading scorers, something is bad wrong! Okafor, Gasol does not play in Memphis anymore. Can you not score? Are you completely worthless? Ray, bad game my friend. J-Rich could not hit the broad side of a barn tonight, but he was due a couple bad games after the tear he went on. Crash, he seems to be slowly trying to return to normal, but it is slow.

We were up by 5 at the Half; and then we just quit. How can you be being outscored by 25 in teh 2nd half against Memphis! This was an embarrassment and the team should pay money to those of us who actually took the time to watch this painful event.

Why would you start GW at PF? Whats going on that we cant win when GW plays? Damn we sucked it up bad tonight..... :g:

That 2nd half was painful to watch. It was like a simultaneous root canal and colonoscopy. :o

Looking at Sam on the bench, I almost felt sorry for him. Maybe I'm reading too much into his expressions, but he had the look of a person that knows that they're doomed.

How can we play so crappy against a team that stinks worse than us? This is just crazy! It's like no one wanted to play, and only DA and Dudley decided to play ball. This may have been the single most sad game I have ever witnessed as a Bobcat fan.

terrible shooting night for jrich. i hope wallace's return has nothing to do with this or the skid but it is looking more and more like the case.

What a monstrosity.

I simply cannot stand one more minute of Sam Vincent. I just can't.

If there is a God in heaven; someone please take this asshole away.

I do not think it is a coincidence that Wallace's return coincides with the teams loss of composure; hell, loss of basic pride.

But I don't know why, Crash is a good player.

So why did "Coach" give up on the players so early in the second half? Why did he sit Okafor and Crash so long? Why did he play Boykins and Felton together? When he brought in Hollins I thought "cool" a big front line; but he took out Mohammed, leaving Hollins to play C solo...always FREAKING SOLO ON THE FRONT LINE WITH THIS FREAKING TEAM!!!! Why the FUCK can't we play Davidson or Hollins at PF!? There was about 10 seconds when we had Okafor, Davidson, Wallace, JRich and Felton on the court; and I'm again thinking "Cool!", but then of course Davidson HAS to come out. FUCK DARN YOU SAM VINCENT!!. :D

Sorry for my language. I have just never experienced such incredible lack of heart in my life. NEVER. I can see no better reason or better time for a good old time ass-whooping coach firing.

Knowing you to be the respectable person that you are, I've got to say your use of language speaks volumes.

I turned the game off midway through the third. I was bored and just had a feeling it was going to end in disaster.

I'm not sure what has to happen for us to remotely salvage this season. After that loss, I'm not remotely thinking about playoffs anymore.

I guess I'll watch some of the NBA training camp, aka the NCAA tournament. Hopefully, we'll land a great lottery pick, fire Sam Vincent, and speak the bulk of the off season running around passing the ball on a court with no baskets. Except, there'd be one special rim where Okafor just dunked over and over and again while guys from Singapore beat him with fraternity paddles.

Hiya Dnbman.

I'm reduced to either cursing or crying. It's come to that. So I'm cursing. It's kind of rough to see the competitive fire go out. But that's what happened tonite.

The season ended on a downer; without even a bother to try.

I apologize; but I feel like I witnessed a coach quit on his team tonite at the most paramount point of the season for them. When it absolutely mattered most; he quit.

There is nothing positive to say at the moment. Jeez, I better just go to bed :P

Holy cow!! I told on myself last night, I must do so again tonight. Although I did watch the first half (and was happy with JD and DA), I was unimpressed by the uninspired play, the lack of focus, the lack of inteligence, the lack of basic fundamentals of rebounding, defense, etc. that we displayed in the first half, even with a 5 point lead, I switched it over to ESPN and watched the absolutely FANTASTIC Black Magic documentary series. I was so enthralled by the stories about Earl "The Pearl", Willis Reed, Bob Love, the SC State "massacre", Al Attles, Bobby Dandridge, etc, etc, etc., that I didn't even bother to switch over and catch the score. All I can say from the last two nights of watching scant Bobcats action is......it's a whole lot less stressful, judging from y'all poor, loyal souls that watched that garbage. I've earned a hell of a lot of respect for you guys!!!

What does this say about me that my reaction to seeing the final score was a vague surprise mixed with a morbid sense of humor? There is no disappointment or anger at all. :g: I don't know, maybe it's a defense mechanism. Maybe it's because I've watched 24 minutes of Bobcats basketball the last two games without much interest. Maybe it's like I said in the Cleveland thread, I've got the March Madness, and the NBA is secondary for the next few weeks. Whatever the reason, I hate it for you guys. Screw the Bobcats; you guys are getting paid shit to pull for this team with blood, sweat and tears. In fact those of us who attend games have to PAY to see these guys, who get there paychecks all fine and dandy whether they stink up the joint or not. You guys are the backbone of this team, and y'all are the reason I'm even posting this, and have posted for close to a year now. Y'all and I deserve better than we've gotten this year, and like has been said, this is the absolute nadir of the season; getting pasted by a hapless, clueless, moderately-talented group of guys who are playing in front of an NBDL-esque crowd on a regular basis, and who are obviously in a rebuilding mode, and those jokers lose by 18 points? Absolutley no excuse! I don't give a damn what they said postgame, there was no excuse for this.

One thing I can guarantee: the television may be on at home, but it won't have a Bobcats game on at any time.

Heh, I had dreams of plane crashes last night - I'm talking stealth fighters crashing into jetliners over NYC?? Too much Hillary/Obama on the TV? Too much Iraq? oops no I watched the Bobcats last night.

It just seems that this team never really believed they were in a playoff chase. There was no will to win.

And then the coach sits his starters to teach a lesson I suppose; during a must-win game. That's the most absurd basketball strategy I've ever witnessed.

If the Bobcats have anything; with guys like Okafor, Wallace, JRich and Felton, its that these guys are pros; and they should be treated as pros; win or lose.

I felt I saw a Coach giving up, but I also felt like several of the players gave up. I saw way too much apathy on the Court. Again, I call for major changes - from the Coaching staff down to many players. New people, new attitude, and new chemistry. I keep, Crash, J-Rich, Dudley, and Ray. All others are expendable assets to be kept or dealt depending upon the offers. And if the price is right, I'd be willing to part with any of the 4 named above - IF the price was right.
