View Full Version : The Bill Walker Thread
A powerful, powerful dude. Plays with a lot of passion which boarderlines on agression and being too hot headed at times. Solid shooter with some range but a little streaky. Not great at creating his own shot but great at "dirty work" baskets. Gets to the rim pretty easliy and when he does can finish with power. A real force and hard to stop.
Comparions: Artest (attitude) meets Maggette (offense)
Best Fits: Rockets, Spurs, Raps

When I watch K-State, it is for Beasley. But from what I've seen of Walker, he has anger management issues. I've seen him intentionally foul for no good reason, get mad at teammates, officials, etc...
He is an early 2nd round option, but I would stay away. I see him having issues, getting suspended by the Team and League for just not being in control of himself. I get bad vibes from him.
I'm not he'll ever be that out of control (to warrant suspensions). People might see the passion that he plays with and think it as a good thing.
I'm not saying that we need Walker on the team, but we sure could use some of his passion!!
I think if he lands on the right team, a team with a vet who would mentor him and take him under his wing then he could really develop into something great.
Think T-Mac and the Rox. Mac at the 2 and Walker at the 3 would rival Swish and Crash as far as athletic ability goes and if Mac's skills and work ethic rub off on Walker........wow!!

been watching him since last year. Shame about his ACL tear otherwise he would be an absolute beast. I like his game and his fire, sometimes its good to have passion on the team, maybe he could get in emeka's grill. He could be a surprisingly good player, he wants the nba very, very badly.
He could be a JR Smith type though. Streaky, and a little misguided off the court. Ive actually wondered about JR on the bobcats, with Jrich at SF. I kinda like that.
