The season series with Bobcats and Raps is tied with 1 win a peice for both teams. As of right now we have the most momentum with our current 3 game streak but that's whats scary I'm pretty sure the Raps wont sleep on us this time around and will want to come out focused after a tough lost to the Hornets yesterday. I like our chances of us pushing the streak to 4 games if we keep up the uptempo play we have seen in the last 3 outings and if we get another Emeka sighting .

Everyone should keep in mind that this is the 5th game in 7 days, and I imagine a lot of yesterday was spent traveling.

Could be tough, but I like our chances just the same. Swish is due for a monster game and Mek has suddenly realized he's in a contract year...guarding Bosh is sure to screw with him though. Felts will probably have his hands full with their 2 headed monster at PG and Nazr has to realize Rasho can actually shoot beyond 5 feet. Hopefully Duds can come in and shake up those mismatches and Crash is feeling no ill affects from Saturday night.

Thanks for getting the game day thread started up Eaton.

If we can play at the same level that we've played over the last 3 games then we have a real chance.
My main concern is the same as one of Spectre's, Emeka always has a difficult time trying to match up with Chris Bosh. That matchup is where it may get ugly.

That match up will tell alot about Oakfor. If he can slow Bosh down and be a beast on the boards should help his off season stock a lot.
This is one i like our chances all so . I think the last three games is the best we have played all year
PREDICTION Felton wins the point guard battle tonight.

If Okafor can finish the season with a real flurry, he may have a leg to stand on with mgmnt and his Contract desires. But he has to start coming up big against guys like Bosh. No more Mr. Soft and Mushy Man.

No more Mr. Soft and Mushy Man.

Primoz just called, he said he wants his nickname back.

Bobcats should win tonight, should usually means won't but whatever. I want to see Mek play huge tonight, Crash could go off for a pile, POTW machine J-Rich should hit some shots, but who knows. The Raptors are good, but not that good.

Until now, our defense is just a joke. 39-30 !!!???? 17 points by Chris Bosh. Bullshit.

Well Okafor seems to be in the building so far tonight sick pass from Boykins to Mek.

Wow, how inconsistent we are. We've started 2nd period with 12-0. Keep it up.

Boykins has been a good spark off the bench getting us running hopefully Felts will do the same when he returns.

Solid games from Okafor, Ray, J-Rich and Crash. Dudley was OK off the bench. We just cannot handle Bosh. He's a monster. Their starting 5 pretty much either matched ours or beat ours, and that says alot as our starting 5 did pretty good. We just could not overcome a miserable 3rd qtr scoring only 10 pts.

Huge coaching mikstake from Vincent cost us one I think he sat Felton and Mek WAY to long in the 4th also ran that two point line up far more than he should have, Dudley should have gotten the minutes Boykins remained in the game. Heads up though Cats fans we got another chance at them later this week.

Totally agree, Duds was playing some very good D on Bosh the 2 or 3 minutes before that substitution, then the idiot goes with a 2 PG lineup and puts Mek on him.

Chalk up yet another loss to our esteemed coach.

Pretty much says it all. Emeka (who's been playing well the past few games and during this one) say for far too long.

Still enjoying seeing Emeka throw it down instead of.. well.. the opposite of that.

the coach had some messed up lineups, especially coming out of the fourth. Not playing Jrich was a mistake. Our best lineup of the night was

Earl
Carroll
Swish
Crash/Duds
Mek

Nazr got too many minutes tonight and Vincent shouldnt be so afraid to play Duds a PF. Jrich plays a better game at 3 with another sharpshooter on the floor, but Crash was playing well too.

I thought when Mek was slumping in the third and so was Nazr we should have played Hollins. Hell, he works hard enough to deserve PT and is getting better at controlling himself. He still has some potential in my opinion (I had previously thought to give up on him).

Felton played decent, and we cannot expect his amazing clutch drives every game.

Also, what the hell were we doing not fouling with 1 minute down by 6???????????? Made me so mad. Wasted nearly 24 seconds and resulted in us fouling anyways. Terrible coaching decision there.

Oh well, think positive for the future Larry Brown!! Larry Brown!!!

also of haha note, Primoz is now spiking up his hair in a way to cover the fact that he is beginning to bald. Nice Primoz, I am sure Sam Mitchell is also missing your 2nd best on the team defense by not playing you

Stange game; strange crowd. Its obvious the pressure is off and the season is winding down. I know I felt it. There was no urgency or need to win. No need to curse a ref or scream at Sam too much.

That's okay when watching on the TV; but going to a game live; it kills the fire.

Of course, that's been the mindset of Sam Vincent all year though; no fire or will to win. That old old dreary dog of 2 Point Guard and now 2 Center play just can't stay down. When Nazr came out with Okafor to start I thought .. well crap .. and we were down pretty fast. The Raptors weren't very big, but Bosh is so quick and so mobile that he was unstoppable against Nazr and OK50. Sam badly needed to sub Dudley for Nazr lol with about 7 minutes left in the first Qtr. I'm thinking maybe I should TELL the old sob from where I'm sitting .. SAM .. DUDLEY .. NOW. Well I don't think it worked because it was a few more minutes before Duds got in. When he did though the team woke up a little with Felts suddenly dishing like a pro and we're overwhelming the Raps for a while in the 2nd.

We spend timeouts contemplating what the assistant coaches must mumble to Sam while they're standing out there on the court brooding over their clipboards. Mmmm fresh stats .. nice .. Then its back to the team and Sam talking while Mokeski, Rose and Ford stare down at their clipboards (well Ford doodles on his) while Gerald Wallace enjoys not listening to any of it. I was kind of waiting for him to pull out an IPOD while he was sitting at the end of the bench in the 3rd.

Hollins sighting was fun in the 2nd Quarter, but didn't last long and .. "He's done for the night." Hey, why would you want to play the ONE GUY who can hop with Bosh; that is at least until he fouls out.

Must have been a great halftime talk because we came out totally lethargic with that highly mobile 2 Center thing getting toasted by Bosh and Parker. Then take out Crash while inserting Boykins for Felton and later bring back Felton as SG and whammo you have a 10 point quarter. Nice. Couldn't have done it worse myself.

I think at the end the team was kind of trying to go home, but was surprised after Hammer bricks 2 threes in a row; that JRich steps up and swishes one; putting us within 3 of tying the game in the last seconds. Just didn't work out though. Still behind the Bulls!

Had some guys sitting behind me ripping on Felton all night. Made me weary. "Get a Point Guard Coach!" Sigh.

And where I sit in the fourth row; near halftime, the 3 rows in front of me TOTALLY clear out and heads for the Bar in the Tunnel. At the start of the 3rd, NOBODIES returned. By the end of the 3rd, some are staggering back...I hear one guy say "whoa, Toronto on a nice little run here" as if he saw any of it. Double Scotch and Water Sigh.
