So today's NY Post reports that the team can't stand the coach, and the owner decides this is the right time to give him a vote of confidence. Almost like "Great job, Brownie!"

And Johnson believes Vincent can be the coach that brings the Bobcats to that next level.
"Next year we'll have a two-year coach, not a one-year coach," Johnson said. "Next year, hopefully we'll get Sean and Adam back healthy. Then I think you'll see what you've got."
okay bobcats planet, time to gang together and try to create a hostile takeover of the bobcats to fix this trainwreck

Maybe along with a new Coach, we can push for a new majority owner. I would try for Bill Gates since he has more $ than God, but since he is up in Seattle area and they are losing their Sonics, he'd probably try to move our Bobcats to Seattle. Sure, we have a lease, but considering how our City officials are pretty idiotic, I would think they would just let him walk away to Seattle.
How about that rich billionaire in Oklahoma, Mr. Pickens. Now, since Oklahoma City is about to inherit the Sonics, he's got no reason to move the Cats. Maybe he'd buy them, and pay enough $ to keep them here and be competitive. (At least I think he's from Oklahoma)
Any other ideas for a possible new Majority owner?

On the actual business side of the issue, (and I know yall are probably joking anyways) there is probably very little chance that Bob Johnson will sell his stake in the team. Even if he would, say and we were to give him a nice healthy profit of 50 million for running the team, then we would owe 350 million to be 100% owner of the team. Now, that is a lot of cash and this all must be either cash or some kind of loan, however it is unpleasant to think about interest rates for the short term until there is more liquidity in the markets, so...
There are several families in Charlotte wealthy enough to pull it off, but on the serious note, I dont think this team will be changing hands for A WHILE

if we can get every person in the state to donate....50$ lol we can buy out and own it
is there a way we can pass a referendum that would let people vote on a tax diversion to have ownership in the team?

Does that mean that Emeka would get to put Sam in the figure four leglock?
I'd pay to see that.

Me too.
There's no way that Sam would be able to reverse the figure-4 on Mek and turn him over.
Unless, maybe the crowd really cheers hard for him, but I see Vincent as the heel in this matchup.

Maybe that could be Sean May and Adam Morrison's to the season: they do their best Road Warriors impersonation, with May body-slamming Vincent and Adam high flying off the top rope! Bonus points if they walk on to the court with spiked shoulder pads to "Iron Man."
