Tonight the K.G, Paul Pierce and Jesus Shuttlesworth come to town. When they were in town earlier this season this happened.

However we did get a little payback later in the season
What do you think guys, Can we get a win #30 tonight?

Well we have had success against them this year but I don't see us winning this one. Hopefully i'm wrong!

Small ball worked last night but I don't see it being as effective tonight against Boston. If Wallace does in fact sit this one out I hope Vincent gives majority of his minutes to Hammer and Dudley. Other than that I hope to see JSwish putting on another show tonight, Felton pushing the ball, distributing and just being clutch when we need him, Davidson getting minutes and Emeka playing hard on both sides of the ball.

From RealGM they are saying Paul Pierce is not playing tonight due to the birth of his baby.

Boston fans are saying none of the "big three" are playing, so this should be a win.

If Boston is resting the 3 amigos, we win.

Ditto that!!! I'll watch the game in between the Final Four, but I'll DVR the whole thing in the hopes we get a W. I agree that if they rest the "Big 3", our chances are better than average, even if GW has to sit this one out too. Everybody who goes, ROCK the house for the 'CATS!!!!!!!! (Along with the "Fine Ham Biscuit" chant, of course!)

Wow. N KG, no Pierce, no Allen. And we are down 20 with 5 min to play. A pathetic showing after a wonderful game vs Toronto.

Giving Felts no rest until the very end of the 3rd quarter on the 2nd game of a back-to-back, electing instead to play his backup beside him due (I guess) to Hammer's dismal shooting.  I "guess" this because Felts had 8 assists and was shooting around 50% by the half.
At first I was thinking ok, we have no other SGs...then when Vincent finally pulls the starters out who does he trot in?  Derek Anderson.
I am getting to where I despise the idiot.

Awful game. I shouted "Fine Ham Biscuit" a lot but people looked at me strange. :P

I was at the game. It proves how valuable Jrich is, we need him to score a ton every night, and how badly when wallace is out we need another dependable scorer. Hello Antawn or Lamar. Either way, we couldnt get it done, and we looked like crap.
Disapointing, and someone tell me why we are doing to two point guards again!!! Goddamnit

That was pretty pathetic.
Keetch said that they looked deflated by the fact that Boston didn't send in the starters. I completely agree.
Charlotte seemed to play as if they were disrespected; they were completely deflated from not having the quality competition.
Just an all around awful game, outside of a couple of Bobcat plays, Scalabrine almost going coast to coast, and Big Baby going behind the back on JRich.
Terrible.

Yups I think this turned into a throw-away game for both teams; only Bostons second-stringers wanted it more - well just because second-stringers do that when they can. Those 2nd stringers are TOUGH players; maybe not greatly skilled, but tough. Unfortunately the Bobcats weren't so tough.
Frankly I think the fans were the ones disrespected tonite. Count the ways? I paid $300 for 2 tickets...$300 so that KG Allen and Pierce could stay home and soak their feet. $300 so that Sam can play Boykins, Felton, Nazr and Okafor together - 2 Centers and 2 Point Guards. $300 to watch the Bobcats play with no fire. Here's what I think...I think that when an NBA team sells season tickets it should grossly discount preseason games and games during the last 2 weeks; or at least put a disclaimer on the season ticket package.."WARNING. THIS IS THE NBA AND WE DON'T LIKE TO PLAY IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS OF THE SEASON, HOWEVER YOU HAVE TO PAY THE SAME AMOUNT REGARDLESS. SORRY" I saw SO MANY kids with Garnett and Allen and Pierce jerseys, and not one of those guys traveled with the team.
Disrespect.
There's 2 games left, but I think I'm done for this season. Sam can carry on without me for those. Not worth the gasoline.
BUT how about them JAYHAWKS!! Rock Chalk BABEEEEE!!
ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK KU ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK KU!
I never imagined they'd beat UNC.

Me 3 :( . I was thinking the same thing, man. Neither one of our teams had any commitment to the defensive end or rebounding. The Heels, God bless 'em, poured it on in the 2nd, but their lethargy early on killed them. The Bobcats just looked listless, disinterested, and to be honest, fatigued all night from what little I saw of the game (all first quarter, little bits 'til the end). This was indeed an ugly, disappointing night for basketball in the Tar Heel State.
BUT...
I'm a good enough sport to congratulate our resident KU grad, Keetch, on the win tonight being that he's a swell guy and all. You should be proud; they really neutered my Heels early on, and fended off a frenetic rally in the 2nd half. I promise this isn't a way to butter you up for the question: if you are done for the year, any way I could have the T'wolves tickets? I'm already going, and taking a good friend of mine who has never been to the Biscuit, and I know he'd be blown away, as I was, with the seats. Just thought I'd ask

Beagle: Totally sorry about the KU-UNC game. I am a big fan of Roy Williams (of course) and have enjoyed watching the Heels this year.
No worries about asking for the tickets lol; I'm very happy to share them. Just PM me with an email to send them to and I can email paper copies. Or call me if you want to pick up the originals. I can give you a parking pass too if you want it.
I'm out until mid-afternoon today.
