Time Warner Cable has FSN South and Sports South on the package if you didn't know so all their games will be on their network but the great thing about this is that they'll also be available to every other network in the Carolinas and satellite as well.

BTW this move immediately comes into effect! Tomorrow's game against Minny will be televised on FSN South. I wonder if TWC will stamp their logo on our floor.

I'm with d'bow, as long as "coach" is still there it should be nicknamed "The Biscuit", even if Bojangles didn't get the naming rights.

As far as the deal itself: very happy for non-TW Cable customers who will finally be able to see games over the TV and not via computer. This is a great way to start the upcoming off-season!!

Keep Steph! She's a pleasure to watch. I'm OK with Martin or Williams. You know who I miss? I miss Jerry Valencourt. It might be Gerry Valencourt. I use to listen to him talk sports all the time. Then, he left town with the Hornets. Man, I wish he was back with us. I wonder if he is still with the Hornets broadcast team and doing sports talk out there? Anyone know?

He still works with the Hornets.

His show was my introduction into sports talk shows back in 1991 when he first came on the air. I remember a few years later he had Michelle Tafoya as a co-host for a while and then Matt Pinto joined him until Gerry eventually left what had changed into WFNZ at that time for WBT. Matt's show was my favorite though and the Primetime show he started was at it's best with him as host IMO. (Can't even stomache listening to it now) It's too bad he didn't stay but he loved doing his play by play. He was with the Mavs for a while but I don't know where he is now.

I will start by saying when Stephanie does her thing I mute the tv, makes me want to bash my head into the wall, especially when she does play by play, she is awful.

Steve and Williams are amusing in their ridiculous side tracks, but not really very good. Matt Devlin was better. Well, I cannot really complain though, being able to watch all 82 games will be a lovely change.
