Thought I'd throw one together for dav's boy!!

CDR is an unorthodox baller in that at times he seems smooth as silk and at other times he seems awkward and clumsy but the thing that always stands out is that no matter what, he seems to know what he is doing. This change of style between silky and clumsy is actually an advantage and often keeps his defender on his heels trying to guess what it coming next. Has the ability to put the ball on the deck and create his own shots by slinking into the lane using his length and smarts. Long, long arms would suggest that he could be a good defender if he works at it as he shows good lateral movement as well. Rarely loses his cool and plays with a quite yet confident demeanor.

Comparisons: Richard Jefferson (as much as I hate to say it) meets Josh Howard

Best Fits: Spurs, Celts, Rockets

Maybe people will remember the last free throws he missed which really hurt Memphis in the Championship Game. Maybe he lasts until our 2nd round pick. I doubt it, but if he did, I'd be all over that pick in a second.

Think C.D.R won Slam over and is moving up on his draft board as we speak.

I like the kid a lot but if we don't snatch a guard early I'd take him later but I'm still banking on grabbing Joey Dorsey with that second rounder having him and Emeka in the frontcourt would be to sick to pass up on

Dorsey and Okafor would give you a Defensive front line with rebounding ability, but too little offense. We need scoring from the Big Men badly as Okafor disappears too often from the scoring part. That is why, in the best of all worlds, I'd be in heaven if we got to draft Beasley. Oh, for some ping pong ball magic. Beasley is a rebounding and scoring machine. As long as his Defense is adequate, he's ideal for the #4 slot.

Oh no doubt I agree with you on us needing a big that can score consistently Beasley would be a dream come true or prying Jamison away from Washington over the offseason. But I just love the way Dorsey plays I think he would bring that toughness and intensity to the Bobcats line up that the Hornets had with LJ(minus the offense of course) but you understand what I mean.
