Happy Birthday Matt! I agree, that we should END Vincent's tenure with the Bobcats on a positive. (I expect to hear word of his dismissal tomorrow morning, though.)

Happy birthday Matt!

This season, Cats failed to beat Sixers. We have lost twice, including one we've lost ridiculously 94-63.

Happy B-Day Matt! I hope the game is a good one for you,but nothing would please me more than to wake up tomorrow morning, and hear that Vincent has been relieved of his head coaching duties.

I been thinking about this all day, What I'm I going to do if he's here next season? My heart, nereves, and family can't take another season of Bobcats Basketball under his leadership.

Happy Birthday Matt! Enjoy the game. Hopefully we win, and you can get a picture with Sam Vincent. A reminder of our lost season. Or, just a picture of Sam to use as a dart board.

Over the last two weeks, Felts has REALLY started to work out where his guys like to catch the ball and it shows with his passing.

MattD

I think just the opposite, felton is killing us by dribbling too much, the offense stagnates

Great to finish with the win, but I still feel dirty that our season ends tonight.

We still should have 2 months of ball ahead of us.

Great way to finish off a bad year. Hopefully, with the seasoning of Dudley, the return of Morrison and May, the #8 pick (unless we get ping pong ball luck) and off season changes in the personnel dept, we will be looking forward to a much better next year.

Matt: Did you get a picture of you and Sam V. together? Something to cherish and remember him by since he'll be gone? (Well, he'll likely be back next yr) Post it is you got it.

It sucks that the Bobcats won't play another meaningful game for over 6 months

Great....I have to miss the last game because I'm out of town and what happens but MJ shows up. I've never seen him before.

...and we recorded the game on the dvr only to find out we picked up the Braves game :P

Not laughing atm.

Vincent's horrible coaching almost cost us this game but in the end the better team prevailed tonight. Excellent games from J-Rich (although this is just another night for him), Okafor (one of his best games all season), Felton, Carroll (killer from the corners) and Boykins off the bench who came on and was a fantastic spark.

I was at the game. The atmosphere was pathetic until the last 2 minutes of the game when the crowd came to life. I just want to live to see a crowd at the arena that will chant, clap, scream etc for all 4th quarters.

BTW here's a site you'll probably never see again at a Bobcats game http://assets.espn.go.com/media/apphoto/70089850-11d6-48cb-bbdd-e08211f29f81.jpg

Well, you have to consider how the season has played out, and what was at stake tonight; I think the crowd was pretty energetic from mid 2nd qtr on. The attendance could've been better, but once again, look what was at stake. I'm guessing maybe 12K or so actual bodies were there, with a paid attendance of 17K or so. Five minutes before the intros it was looking ugly though; all in all, a respectable turnout.

I wore my orange Mek jersey out of symbolic gestures: 1. The end of the orange jersey. 2. Maybe Mek's last game here. If it is his last game, he went out with a bang, and I was happy about that. I think he's an integral part of this team, but that's a matter for another thread....

Raymond played silly as usual at times tonight, but he helped seal the deal tonight, along with Mek and the interior passer of the game....RYAN HOLLLLLLINSSSS! That was great to see! If this was your last game here, Ryan, you'll be missed; as opposed to Othella.

Me, my cousin, and Michael Thompson had a good time joking about the MJ appearance on the floor seats.

I chatted it up with LadyCat Jordan before the game, and I have to admit I was fuckin' smooth; which is to say, I was able to carry a coherent conversation with her. Knowing I had no chance in hell with her made it that much easier, and I'll be damned if she didn't put her arm around me for a moment, fellas! The little tease...

All in all it was a bittersweet evening. I know we saw some players for the last time. The season's ending too early. We showed how much work we have left, but that we still have the heart and many of the pieces in place to do something next year. They finished with a 3 game winning streak in games I attended, two of which were against playoff teams (Hawks, Wolves, Sixers), and are 2-0 in their newly-christened Arena. Here's to a productive off-season! :cheers1:

True that. I just watched the DVR'd game. It, to me, mirror-imaged the opener in many ways. True "Bookends" if you will.

My favorite part was Ryan passing the ball to Emeka (and well too! a couple times)

Now, where did Bob put that Pink Slip? No point in keeping Sam waiting.

you know what really pisses me off about this game...

the fact that Ryan Hollins played so well and showed what he is capable of.

I had JUST NOW gotten to the point where i was willing to let him go and say well he just hasnt made the leap and he probably never will.

Then he goes and shows me all over again, that freakin potential he has.

it wasnt a perfect Hollins game by any stretch and he may never be a dominant force. but with hustle and heart like that kid has coupled with his atheleticsm and potential... i say we keep him for a little longer. cant really hurt right

He's had hustle and desire, but the skill's not really been there. Obviously it could be there as you and I have both seen. I wonder if Jared's had any influence on him.

In fact, is there a way we could combine JD into Ryan into one being? With the Dude's brains and Ryan's freakish athleticism they'd be an unstoppable entity!

I honestly feel that Hollins could have been our missing PF this season, I really do. I thought his quickness and length would turn him into a defensive beast with a little playing time.

Of course, that never happened.

What we got was the 15 game Primo experiment. Sheesh.

Why of why are the Bobcats coaches so phenomenally stupid?

Keetch, if 4 minutes every other game isn't enough time to prove yourself, then I don't know what is. Clearly, if Ryan and Jermareo were worth their salt, then they would have been able to improve their game just by watching other people play.

yeah... like that makes sense... Luckily, we'll probably get to sit through this crap again next season.

Just kidding
