Don't have it, haven't played it, don't have a next gen console and I can say with 100% confidence that yes you should spend $60 on it.

the city is completely interactive, there is so much to do, i've been discussing this game so much lately i think im running out of juice to do so...not to mention online play is awesome as well

me and my friend are gonna try to completely beat it this weekend but i doubt that's possible

What kind of stuff can you do in the online multiplayer portion of the game?

there's about 12 different game modes...the big ones are

deathmatch
gta race
cops and crooks
team deathmatch
free roam


deathmatch = ffa and u kill everybody by any means necessary
gta race = a race mode in which u can shoot the cars and stuff (there's also regular race mode)
cops and crooks = one team is cops who chase the mobsters (u can see them on the radar but they can't see u) and the mob has to get their boss to the extraction point...the cops win if they kill the boss (it's kind of like convoy in socom if you ever played that)
team deathmatch = deathmatch with teams hah
free roam = awesome with a full house...the whole city with 16 people goin around doing whatever

Got it for my PS3 from GameStop a few hours ago instead of the 360 and so far I'm loving it the attention to detail is amazing crazy how if you crash your car enough times eventually it wont start up for you or when you shoot someone sitting in a car they will lay dead on the horn.

2pacalypse did you change the controller settings to the original GTA version or do you like the changes? everything is fine for me besides the turns while drive takes a while to get use too.

all the previous GTA's i had for ps1/ps2 so i never used the original xbox settings, but im using the new ones just because for driving i was used to the new one with gran turismo and all

i think im like 15% through the game now ahaha, this is crazy fun and yea ziggy ill add u...i only have like 3 games tho...gta 4, gr2, halo 3...and some free ones that came with the console ahaha im lame

I've been playing for days now and I'm only 13% into the game so many side missions that get you side tracked I just got finished killing that biker gang for Francis.
