I will add nothing more if you see something on there you want to discuss or you want to discuss your take on what they say about each prospect on this board feel free. If not that is okay. I found the site pretty good considering it is loaded with critique that is free to the public. You can't get ESPN's full analysis for free.

I'm very happy with who they have us taking at 8. I know he's not a popular choice by most folks here, but he's the player I've wanted since late February (outside, obviously, of Beast and Rose). Love is thick, strong, firey competitor a la JD, very good post defender with long arms, great post game, solid outside game. The knees worry me a bit, but I think we'll all learn a lot by the time pre draft camps and individual workouts come around on whether the knees are a serious issue or not; thanks to the May fiasco, I'm sure they'll make sure to cover all bases there.
The Randolph kid oozes potential, but I'm not in the mood for projects, plus he doesn't seem near as mentally ready as Love. We'll let Jermareo be our athletic big man/project for the time being.

nbadraft.net has us taking PF Darrell Arthur from Kansas. He made himself some $ in the NCAA Tourney, but I dont know if he is a PF in the NBA 6-9 and 230 lbs is not very big. Much more athletic than Love, but I dont know if I trust him as a PF as much as Love. About as athletic as Randolph from LSU, but not as much upside in my opinion.

I didn't watch a lot of Kansas basketball but when I did Arthur seemed like he's reached his ceiling and seems NBA ready but with that said I'd still take the kid Randolph from LSU over him and Kevin Love. I like everything I read about him a 6-11 big that can handle the rock like a guard with a jumper that continues to improve I have a feeling his stock will rise come predraft workouts if teams don't sleep on him because of his body type.
Arthur doesn't strike me as the highest BBIQ sort of guy. Great abilities though. Seems like he needs to apply himself a little more and on a consistant basis.
With Love, you pretty much know what you are going to get (which isn't all bad).
Randolph is the big question mark. High risk, high reward. From what I have read he'll either be VERY good and we'll love having him as a Bobcat or be furious that we passed up on him OR he'll blow and we'll hate having him or someone else will draft him and we'll be glad we dodged that bullet.

I'd love to have Danlio Gallinari out of italy, but he's awfull skinny and plays more sf. Which is the last thing we need. I really don't see anybody in the draft that is just going to be an out of this world PF or C.
I'm just hoping that we get lucky in the lottery and can get Mayo,Rose or Beasly. Maybe even Lopez, although I'm not sold on him being any better than a Haywood type player.

I honestly think that if we wind up picking 8th, then the Bobcats will take either Kevin Love, Anthony Randolph, DJ Augustin or Russell Westbrook.
I don't really see the Bobcats picking anyone outside of that group.
Of those 4, I bet at least one isn't on the board at 8. According to ESPN, Augustin goes 7th. But Draftexpress has those 4 going 8, 9, 10 and 11 (I didn't know that when I started writing this lol). I think NBAdraft.net's mock is kind of wonky. Westbrook's stock is rising I hear. It's possible he gets grabbed up.
From my limited exposure to these guys, it seems that any one of them would be a very nice pick for the Bobcats, for different reasons.
My gut feeling (and for now its just that and little more) leans towards Kevin Love because of his overall skills passing, shooting, rebounding and his true PF size. I don't see how he's not an asset.
Does Randolph duplicate Jemario Davidson or overwhelm him? We wouldn't need them both.
Is DJ Augustin an emerging playmaking star or the next average joe PG beaten by Derrick Rose? We kind of have that already with Felts, who unfortunately will never live up to comparisons to Chris Paul and Deron Williams. That's no dig on Felts; Paul and Williams are proving to be huge talents.
Westbrook could be the nice combo package to give us a hyper-athletic S/PG backing up both Felton and JRich. He's not really comparable to anyone else I don't think and might make a very solid addition that a coach like Larry Brown could especially work with.
Considering Brown; I'd guess its Love or Westbrook.

DeAndre Jordan should be our 8th pick though. It was rumored on the web also.

That would be very risky at #8. I think MJ stays away from risks like that following the Kwame Brown fiasco. He wont risk another potential high bust like that again.

Noting to add to what has been said by some. I think Kevin Love would be a nice pick. Still if their was a chance to trade Kevin Love and Gerald Wallace for Jermaine O'Neal I would do it.
I know many of you would be concerned by O'Neals injury troubles but JO has a lot to prove and he would probably fit in well with a coach like LB. Gerald Wallace is a great player but at this time he really doesn't seem to fit on our team. I know I was one who said people would say that GWall would unfairly be seen as a weakness when we started winning without him but I really do feel at this time that he is expendable. Maybe we would not have to give up that much for JO but this is just a possible trade that would have to be made for him.

This is what I can't get past. If I could and Randolph was clearly better, it would be a no brainer for me.
Man I wish I had got to see him play!!

If Blake Griffin came out, I would definitely trade up for him.
