When I heard this story I knew it didn't sound right. Richard Jefferson is not what one would consider one of the bad boys of the NBA. This was obviously a plan at extortion and the idiot planning it picked the wrong player to go after. Then again maybe he picked the right player. If he had instigated somebody like Ron Artest it may be real bad for him. He may get millions but he would be totally paralyzed. Not a good way to enjoy your extorted gains.
