I posted at the end of the "trade our pick this year" but didnt know if you guys would see it on page 8 what do you think of a Crash/Nazr/May/#9 for Boozer/Brewer/#23? Draft Donte Greene at #23 to start at sf at 6"10' he can rebound brewer becomes our lock down defender. Pick up a big in FA and draft a pg with our 2nd rounder or vice versa Both teams improve and the bobcats are headed for the playoffs

Thats a lot to give up ? I would prefer not to include draft picks making that deal .
If we had to give up a pick i would rather give up our 2009 first rounder [Proctected]
Then take either Gordon , Mayo, or Westbrook . The best of the three thet is left.
But i would give up Crash and Nazz and a 2009 prtected for Boozer and Brewer.
I just don't see them doing it.
BTW Welcome to Bobcatsplanet..................................... .........................

if may is included, we keep 9 and still get 23. If no may, Ill swap picks.

Sorry Dav, but I still dont understand why people are dreaming Mayo will be around at 9. He wont be, he will be long, long gone.

I am starting to change my mind about Boozer too, I think Deron Williams is really a large catalyst behind his success, and we should try for brand even harder then for boozer.

but yeah, the deal is still one i probs would go for. Draft Bill Walker at 23. (I love the guy)

Thats a deal that I make.

Crash's injury history makes it a relatively easy decision.

I not saying he will but one of those three should be .and i think any of those three could step in the 2 slot in Crashes place. Along with Brewer. Williams is good but he don't make Boozer play great defence and hit the boards like he does.
Thats why i like a 2009 pick better so we stay solid at the two.
But like Ziggy i would make that trade even if we had to take CDR or god forbid Rush at twenty three.

That would be the ideal scenario for me. That way we wouldn't have to part with Crash or our draft pick(s). With JRich fully entrenched as the go-to scorer, and no 'breaking-in' period last last season's first couple months, GW won't have put the team on his back night in and night out like he did while JR was getting settled in with his new team. If not for that freak Mikki Moore elbow, and a realistic shot at making the playoffs the last month, Crash would've missed around 8-12 games last season anyway, which really isn't all that bad. I think he'll have a great year (going back to 15 or so PPG; a higher FG%; less TOs), especially if LB can sell him on playing a less gambling style defense, which leads to numbers for the other team; the first time he goes for a steal of a pass, whiffs, and the team scores an easy two, it could get ugly...
