Lets put a some (virtual) cash on it.

Who do you guys have winning this 7 game series?

Discuss your pick in the 2008 playoffs thread

I picked the C's before the playoffs started but that's because I thought they would raise their game a bit in the playoffs. While their defense has still been great, it's been their opponents playing above their heads taking them to game 7's (w/the exception of Detroit who lets face it when they run into a team that's on their level usually wilts under pressure) That's not going to happen w/L.A because of Phil Jackson and the best player in the game, Kobe who loves extinguishing a teams hopes and dreams.. They are the best offensive team in the league who also present match up problems, they have good length and play pretty good defense. Plus they have good shooters all around and the best bench in the league. So Lakers in 6 and that is only because Boston has home court.

Btw, I also think the Spurs and probably even the Hornets could beat the Celtics if they had gotten to the Finals.

I won't Flee from the Big 3.

I am not bought on the Celtic craze. No matter how much they shove down our throats on Gatorade commercials, ESPN, and NBA TV.

I'm sick of it. Bill Russell sucking Kevin Garnett's ass over the fact that his number is one off of his.

I hope LA sweeps them and sends their dreams down the Toilet.

Make all the Fairweather Fans regret spending money on KG Jerseys.

I'm not scared of those Banners.

Screw Boston.

I'm trying to care about this series, but I just don't. Actually, I'm not trying to care; I'm just gonna do other stuff.....and check the scores on ESPN.

Really Lakers - Celtics?? Come on, hasn't that been done before?. Now if it was Warriors - Bobcats, or Hornets - Bobcats now THAT would be a great series! Actually Anybody - Bobcats would be great; well except Lakers - Bobcats. See, I really just dislike these spoiled big market teams and their spoiled baby players....a lot.

These are my thoughts said in Keetchese to perfection! These whole playoffs have been miserably disappointing to boot; the most anti-climactic that I can ever remeber. Maybe it's just this past season's disappointment hangover, but I really haven't given a damn about this postseason at all, but even from a objective viewpoint, it would likely seem 'blah'. If there was a way both teams could lose, I'd favor that.

Also, with all these lovey-dovey pronouncents of Kobe having arrived as his own man, and rivaling MJ for best player.....EVER (yawn), I can't help but think each time I see him being coddled in an interview, or smiling on the podium after Jerry West gave him a figurative bj, of his tantrum-laden, expletive-laced meltdown against our Cats in LA this year. That was the Kobe I know and love....

Amazing choke job by LA although I could see them keeping the series alive but losing in Game 7.

Jesus put on a show last night this layup was crazy.

Seriously that sucked. It seems Boston finally decided to play some real ball in the post season. This is the team I remember from the whole year who I didn't think anyone could beat. Too bad they had to show up in the Finals. :(

Celtics wanted it more and it showed LA is just soft as hell and I'm more and more happy each day we have a coach that will demand D like Doc Rivers does for his squad.
