I read on Espn that the Suns have a history of trading or selling their pick. Would anyone be interested in trading one of our filler players and cash considerations for the #15 pick? We could trade May and our 2nd rounder or just buy the pick and get a Big man with our pick and Lawson or Donte Greene with Phoenix's if we do decide to trade Wallace or we can keep him.

Opinions?

Will take much more than May and a 2nd to get #15. A lot more.

If we have a plan, we can do it. Suns sold a lot of draft picks in last few years, Rudy Fernandez, Rajon Rondo, Luol Deng are among them. But if don't know what we are doing, this won't help.

I had us giving them money in addition to may and our 2nd. They like to get rid of their 1st rounders maybe they would want Morrison instead, i dont know. Just an idea to get back into the 1st round and fill both our major needs.

I think if Phoenix traded the pick it would be to save money, so acquiring May makes no sense for them.

I'd love to get the pick, especially if we effectively buy it like other teams have done.

One other thing: can they trade it? You can't trade consecutive first round picks. I know they traded some last year, but I'm not sure if the picks were original Sun's picks or extra picks they have traded for. Also, this pick is one they acquired and not their original pick, correct?

I would do it.

Maybe we could get:

9-Brook lopez
15- DJ Augustin

or

9- Eric Gordan
15- Donte Greene

???

Well, if we could do it with our 2nd and a Contract we could afford to give up, along with some of Bob's $, heck yeah. #9 and #15 can go a long way towards building a good team.

Ammofan, I love those 2 scenarios you listed. I'd be all over those.
