So is thair any one worth a damn working out for the Bobcats this year .
I havn't heard a lotery pick even come to Charlotte.
It just pisses me off thease college kids think they to good to play for us.
It looks like the pickings are getting smaller with love not working out for us now either.

What in the hell is a small market team to do ?
The NBA needs to address this.

Yeah, but Love's wasn't a slam at Charlotte. He cancelled out on the Nets at #10. I'm guessing someone has given him a "promise", my guess is #5 pick. Gallinari on the other hand is a bona fide a$$hole who needs to be pounded into the NBA hardwood multiple times during his Rookie year. That way, he will go back to Italy and play with Armani and friends. He'll be soft as your toilet tissue, and in the NBA, people will use him like toilet tissue!

That list and the fact that we worked out Hibbert today leads me to believe that theres a good chance that we may be trading down.

True, but they did work out Jordan, so it does seem very confusing. Not sure it there is some smokescreening happening, or are they unsure of what they want to do? They might be torn b/t drafting at #9 or trading out.

...or they keep the 9 and still make a trade with the Blazers, Warriors....or Pistons.

It's possible Larry Brown has a game plan.

I don't really blame the guys who don't work out for us based on being told they'll be picked higher.

If a team gives a promise or even if there is strong reason to believe that you will be picked in the top 5, you don't want to do anything that can drop your stock. Let's say that Love works out for us, has a bad day, and gets abused by Jordan. That doesn't help his stock in the slightest. If he's already got a pretty good idea of where he's going and doesn't want to try and boost his stock, a player is pretty smart to limit workouts. If I was an agent, that's probably what I would tell my players to do.

That is exactly what I am thinking! I think we may be honing in on #9 with Jordan, and trading back into the late lottery and hoping that someone like Alexander is still there, but if not, they may be looking at Greene. Either way, they clearly wanted to see a couple of the SF's, which leads me to believe that they may be moving Crash for a player and maybe a late lottery. Portland and Phoenix are both examples of who might want Crash and trade their lottery pick for him. I can see Golden State doing it also. But if it were for Wright and their pick, we wont be taking Jordan at #9, more like Westbrook or Gordon if still there. None of those guys would be available tho with the Piston's pick so I dont know if they could be involved. Then again, if the person we trade Crash for is really good, and we are also getting a late lottery pick, we may be packaging Nazr, too.

haha ohara... take a deep breath... you just overloaded me with scenarios.

this whole keep the 9 and trade down late in the lottery actually kinda makes sense to me. See i think this whole team is made up of very coachable young guys from good college programs. Bring in Jordan (close to the coach so he knows a little more about him) then bring in another young contributor and have the whole team on the same level. That way the team will be more receptive to Larry Browns tutelage. We keep hearing so much about LBs teaching that it makes sense to stick with good program kids with solid heads on their shoulders. Maybe a team of youngsters mixed with LB is a recipe for success, or maybe its the Knicks2.0

am i crazy or does DeAndre Jordan have the ability to play PF in the NBA? I'd say hes pretty mobile and semi light on his feet, i know his offensive game is strictly elementary and based around Center play but hes young and coachable. Can his athletiscm mixed with some "coaching up" from LB translate into a PF.

Is it possible or am I way off.

Well from what I'm hearing Jordan doesn't play well with his back to the basket, likewise I don't think he can play facing it either; unless he's right under it.

So PF is probably asking a bit much at the moment. :)
