It looks like they'd want our pick, and worse yet not give up theirs. I would like to have Barbosa; not so much Diaw.

Said it before when the subject of adding Barbosa to our team came up just imagine how exciting of a backcourt we would have with Ray and Leandro Barbosa. Would give opposing guards hell trying to keep up with both of them could be very Baron/Monta like I wouldn't mind the move.

yep. I was the one who suggested it, with Jrich at SF it would be beast!
imagine trading our 9 for barbosa
then we trade crash+ammo for either a s&t brand or Boozer.
Felton
Barbosa
Jrich
Brand/Booz
Mek
thats a pretty awesome starting lineup in my opinion
Barbosa isn't too bad, but Diaw is a bum.
Not sure I would give up the #9 for Barbosa. Him at the 2 and Swish at the 3 means we would suck on D.

I still think Jrich is an underrated defensive player. Hes not lock down, but he can stay with most guys. He really never has played on a defensive oriented team either, neither has barbosa for that matter

I would definatley look into this. I like both players. But if we did this we have to either trade wallace for another veteran big man or another 1st rd. draft pick

That I will definitely agree with. Swish's D with us at first left a lot to be desired, but as he gelled with the team (and esp. after that weekend practice with MJ) I saw a lot of effort. Like that effort we've all come to expect out of the Bobcats during Bernie's tenure.
Swish has grown a lot more than I expected already. He's not going to improve that lateral quickness much tho, plus he's more of a tweener 2/3. IMO we still need that piece that can cover the quicker 2s.
I think both of those guys would help us and I would definitely give up our pick to get either one of them. However I see the chances of either one ending up here as slim since neither one of them can play a lick of defense and we know how LB feels about those kind of players.

A Suns fan posted this on another board as a rumor floating around as a possible draft night move to get a higher pick:
Suns are gunning for another pick. Looking at Barbosa to the Blazers for Webster and the 13th or Diaw to Toronto for TJ Ford and the 17th. I think both moves are steals for the Suns.

If they could get TJ Ford to stay healthy he'd be a steal for most teams. When healthy he's a stud.
