will be an o.k. pick. That is all.
Although, I just realized his draft nickname should be Bi-Lo, especially if we trade with Minnesota and they take him 9th.

B-Lo just b-lows; plain and simple. It would easily be the worst pick in the franchise's history, and set us back likely forever. He does nothing, NOTHING good. He was fortunate to be born and reach 7' and play against kids smaller than him. Yes, that same formula got Michael Olowokandi drafted first in '98, but everybody knows the payoff of that selection.
I put the odds at us picking him at 35:1. I just think MJ/LB don't like the guy either, and would rather trade up or down instead of taking him.

The fact is,all of the media think that we want a center because mek won the rookie of the year at power forward. But his stats were very misleading because he was the only good player on that team(matt carroll and crash really hadn't come out of their shell yet). And primoz had a career year shooting the ball.Which never happened again. But the fact is mek is a center.Only a center. He can't guard quicker 4's and he doesn't put the ball on the floor well enough to create space for himself.Anyone who thinks we should even consider Brook Lopez has been spray painting in a windowless barn all day.Nazr Mohammed was the starting center beside tim duncan in san antonio for several playoff seasons. He was very effective and started out as a starter in detroit before the emergence of ben wallace. His is not an all-star but is a very decent center. With him and mek we are set at the 5.What we need to do is take westbrook or augustin and aquire another pick in the teens(maybe for morrison,a future first, and pick up harringtons option and use it as expiring contract to throw in). Then take speights, arthur, randolph,or maybe hickson(only if everyone else is gone). If we came awat from this draft with any combination of those players we would take a major step in the right direction.Personally westbrook and speights would be my dream draft.they both play multiple positions have great size and are good players at both ends of the court.
