If Love is available at 9 do you take him, especially if you plan on taking Hibbert @ 20. If we take both. It will give us depth, but we will still be short at the PG spot. How do you guys feel about it?

If we land Kevin Love early I'd go PG at 20 that seems to be where Mario Chalmers is projected to go.

if we do that, we would most likely take a PG with our 38 pick...probably courtney lee or kyle weaver

Love at #9 and Chalmers at #20 would be 2 very nice additions and do a lot to help this team. I could not argue if mgmnt goes this way. Some others may, but I'd like that draft.

I most definitely take Love at #9. I then think that Hibbert at #20 is a smart pick (especially in the midst of contract negotiations with Mek - who knows what'll happen? Be prepared in case he splits.) I think a back-up pg can be found more easily in FA than a starting PF. Names like Anthony Carter come to mind.

A. Carter? ewww...another PG that can't shoot...we need players that can shoot because we need to spread the floor and open up the paint for slashers

Could always grab Carlos Arroyo to be the backup PG.
I'd be ok with drafting Love at #9 - no way in hell do I want to trade Crash and the #9 to move up to #5 to get him though.

cosign!!! There's nobody in this draft I'd trade Wallace and the pick for. Obviously I'd have to think about it if Rose or Beasley. But even then, Wallace is a big time contributor and we can get another contributor with the 9th.

Personally, I would trade Wallace in a heart beat. I've fallen out of love with him. He is not same player, since he got his deal. He wants to be a jump shooter and a 3pt threat, but that is not his game. I think he has the most trade value of any player, SO if another team made the right offer, he would be on his way out of the door!!

The #5 for Crash is straight up robbery on Memphis part only way I shop him in this years draft is if we are getting top 3 pick in return.

Looks like it will be Augustine at 9 and Hibbert at 20 per DX.

I'm with you. I don't have acid reflux but I may need some prevacid before watching the draft tonight. I havent been exited about a Bobcats draft since the very 1st one, and that didnt even pan out that good.

NBATV had RW at 9 and McGee at 20; nobody knows, man. I'm just thrilled I'm not seeing any Lopez at 9 lately.

Agreed 100% with you I'm praying the Sonics take him.
As far DJ I don't think he's a scrub he could end up making some teams pay for passing up on him who knows I just think a bigger point guard would be a nice change for us.
