I give them a B. A chance to be an A if they make the right deal for our PF.

All joking aside, I just went back and looked at the depth chart on FoxSports.com....no Gerald Wallace

Yesterday Draftexpess reported that Larry Brown wanted D.J. even if Westbrook was still on the board. Plus we all heard Larry last night that he totally fell in love with Alexis during workouts.
MJ is getting blasted again but I think we all know who really made the decisions last night.
I really like the DJ pick. He gives us great depth at the point and increases our teams collective basketball IQ - which we needed. He and Felts compliement each other with some what opposing styles.
I like the Weaver pick. He'll replace what DA did for us being a big guard who can bring the ball up and play great on ball D. He's a poor man's Josh Childress - and I like me some Josh Childress!!
The Ajinca pick will be a wait and see. If he does live up to the hype and gets to the "LMA" type game some have him pegged as then we'll all be thrilled. I would have liked to trade the #20 and a future 2nd (or something) to the GSW to move up and grand Randolph, but all in all I am pretty happy.
I give the team a B
(side note: If we had traded Crash and the #9 for TJ the team would have been graded a Z - think about that for a moment. Think about what might have happened!)

I think one of the greatest things ajinca brings to our team is that we have a center who can actually SHOOT from anywhere. he seems to be able to shoot 3's, has a high fg% and shoots high % from the line as well. if he can translate any of that to the nba, at least teams will be spread out trying to guard us and maybe make okafor more efficient in the post

I think all he needs to do is put on some weight with muscle and he will be fine...
