Sheesh, in just 24 hours we have:

Heard Felton being shopped to Cleveland
Drafted two point guards
Tried to trade G-Force for starting PG
Possibly trying to trade Felton for David Lee
Now interested in Carter in free agency

Yep, Felton is gone.

Is he any good at all?

HELL NO. This guy has no scoring ability. We need PG's who can at least shoot and make shots if they are open. PG's who can't shoot are too predictable (think rondo...everytime he took it to the rim, you knew it was to pass the ball not to try and score). Don't get me wrong he's a great passer, but I would like more balanced PG's on the team.

Could it be possible we inquired about Carter BEFORE we took Augustin?

did you just try and downplay the current starting point guard on the World Champion Celtics?

next time you make a comparison, you might want to submit better evidence.

yeah pierce, kg, posey and allen had nothing to with the celtics success.

i'm just telling it like i see it. this is an open forum, right? I watched Rondo the whole playoffs this season and a lot of games throughout the regular season, and he's definitely a passing PG (which is great), but doesn't look to score unless told to by Doc rivers (if the defense leaves him open or ignores him)...plus everyone knows he's a below-average jumpshooter if he gets open (although he is getting better at it)...I like rondo a lot, but I just don't think a player like rondo would be good for our team because I think we need a bit of scoring/shooting ability at the PG position for our team because of Raymond's and Gerald's below average shooting ability

I've watched a bit of Anthony carter when I was keeping up with the nuggets this regular season, and I can see similarities between him and rondo's role on the team (pass, don't score unless you're sagged off of)

I'm glad we got DJ, a pass-first PG just like the 2 pg's above, but also a guy who can shoot the ball as well in order to spread the D for slashers like wallace and Jrich and for our big guys (if our big guys can learn to score inside)

I read a rumor about a month ago saying he Charlotte was insterested in him . After drafting D.J I think that instrest is gone.

Anthony Carter? Can we trade Gerald Wallace for him?

 I don't know, man, that's looking like a steal for us; we'd probably need to throw in that has been Raymond Felton too in order to get that stud Anthony Carter

actually that makes a lot of sense doesnt it, two younger pg's, bring in an older pg and deal the terrible one for a teams more pressing need. perfect.

Now Spectre, what's the use in trying to look at all this rumor and speculation reasonably? Why can't you just be a little more rash about things?

Clearly we want 3 and a half point guards on this team and no PF. That's how the Bobcats have always done things.

now now i think that's not enough for us to get carter, we should go add ammo, rufus and cash plus draft rights in 2010. getting chucky atkins from them would then equalize this trade. that's awesomeness and NBA championship for 12 years right there. i'd probably cream in my pants if goes down. anthony + carter = oye! :)
