He's only played in 71 games in the last two season and wasn't especially impressive after being injured.

Plus, the FA market usually has a domino effect: the bigger guys sign first, as teams want the best they can afford. Once the better players are gone, teams work with what's left.

It's rare to see mid level or questionable FAs sign early.

You guys remember him from 2 seasons ago? Guy's midrange was almost impossible to stop. He never was a great defender but his offense was great.

It's a big flag however that NJ seems so willing to let him walk.
