I was gonna start a thread about the hottest female athletes. but then I found the girl who crushed the whole competition and made this thread null and void.
(However.... feel free to try and top this, it could be possible but I'm not betting on it)
I give you... Allison Stokke. Pole Vault.

theres a big controversy surrounding her, because she wants to be known for her sport not her looks. But I say women's sports in general need to reevaluate their situation. They will always be minor leagues to Mens sports. Its not fair but its the truth. And using their looks to enhance and build their sport may be the best way to go about it. Men are stupid, use it to your advantage.
anyway... try to top that.

Cute, but she's a hair and make-up girl.
Stokke FTW.
She'd look hot any time of day, any day of the week, any week of the... etc., etc.

As an enthusiastic ladies tennis watcher, let me introduce my top 3
#3 Maria Sharapova (Russia): Although everyone sees her the most beautiful tennis player, I don't think so. She's hot by every means, however, she reminds a celebrity rather than a sportswoman.
http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/06_03/mariaPA_468x647.jpg
#2 Maria Kirilenko (Russia): Makiri is the closest friend of Sharapova, since she is not as successful as the other Masha, she is not widely known. All in all, she is both very very cute and hot.

#1 Ana Ivanovic (Serbia): Princess of courts. She doesn't need any explanations.

anyway... try to top that.So many dirty things running through my head, what with the name of the sport she participates in, your quote at the end.....
What makes her all the more impressive is that she's not dollled-up; she's out there doing her thing (and doing it well!!!) without having sat down and have someone apply makeup for an hour, and fix the lighting just so, etc. This is her en naturale and she's smoking:o I mean, good Godfrey, those shorts:bowdown:

What day of the olympics does pole vault start?

Easy guys :D Your Allison is just another mediocre athlete. She is so young (1989 born) and couldn't go to the Olympics. You have to wait for long years to see her in major championships.
Pole Vault was today and Yelena Isinbayeva won the gold with yet another world record at 5.05 m (converting this to your ft and in, it is about 16 ft and 8-9 in). Stokke's personal best is just 13ft 7.

Well I'm born in 1990 so she's not too young for me one bit.
Neither is Shawn Johnson for that matter..............

We cannot compare her age to ours in this subject huh? :D Pole vault is one of most technical branches and it requires years to make your technique perfect.

I'll just watch them on TV.

Disagree.
I think she's cute, especially in her driving jump suit thingy.
