Morrison or May has no trade value for us at all . So we all got to just hope both or at least one of the two has a healthy season.
Im pulling for both players , but would trade either for somthing of value.
It's kinda like two wasted roster spots , hope that changes this year.
Do any of you guys really belive either will come back and be productive this year?
I think Morrison has about a twenty five percent chance of coming back and being good.
May im thinking it's about a ten percent chance?
Not good odds for us.

knee surgeries don't even scare me anymore... now adays its just like ok your injured... sit out a couple months and you'll be back to normal in no time.

the fact that Morrison is gettin confidence back and "knows he has a solid role" is really encouraging. I've always highly valued the production at the college level. you know with Beasley it was a great thing because he had the body and looked like an NBA player... but a lot seem to think Morrison just got lucky in college. I think with the proper coaching, a little confidence and some help from teammates that Morrison could be a very very good 6th man for us.

Knee surgeries scare the hell out of me thats where we differ.IFand to me thats a big IF Morrison can some how and get back to a hundred percent. I agree he could be a very nice scoring weapon coming off the beanch. We will see about both players as neither player has NO value at all as of now. Thats the bad thing NONE.

i agree that neither has any TRADE value... but i think they can have a very significant value to this team.

and Morrison looks to be on the quick road to 100% recovery... as the doctors have cleared him and

Morrison is with the Bobcats' summer-league team, which will begin practice today on UNLV's campus. He'll participate in non-contact drills this week, working toward a clearance to scrimmage in September, a month before training camp. The knee is fine, he's told.

FWIW, I'm a season ticket holder and in the last town hall meeting last season, Buzz Peterson mentioned that Sean May was the person they get the most calls about. Now, whether that call is "Really, you still have Sean May" or "What will it take to get Sean May", I don't know. But from what they say, he apparently carries some value to other teams.

If healthy im sure he would have value. He has proven he can play the game in the few games hes played. May could be a very nice player if healthy. If he can just play he should be our starter at the P/F position. The problem is nither player playing in over a year having extensive knee problems just kills value. When you have no one to trade it really affects the direction the team wants to take.

I hear what you're saying loud and clear. All I'm saying is at the time, May was apparently generating interest, even without playing. What kind of interest is unknown, but interest nonetheless.

I'm much rather see (and let the rest of the league see) what they can do coming back. I think they both have a lot to offer and I'd like to have the Bobcats benefit from it one way or another.

May, it seems doesn't want to work or something, don't know don't care until I see it on the floor or read about him working under LB on the Bobcats team, not in Chapel Hill. Ammo, we all saw on the ESPN All Access before the Orlando game last year Ammo was working already, walking without crutches. I hate to compare the two but they both had knee problems and missed a whole year and they are about the same age and possibly ability so it leads to that, but rehab is different for everyone.

Yeah last year May had trade value big time, then he hurt his knee again, word got out he was bone on bone or whatever and he might as well be called Sean May's future expiring contract.

In these times of the NBA.

Could Morrison play PF?

a non defending Power Forward may not sound good to you but consider Antawn Jamison.

and while were on the subject of Defense.

Does anyone play Defense in the NBA anymore?

That still pisses me off because it means that either Sean's not committed to the team (if he was, he'd be working out in charlotte and spending time with the team in Las Vegas - you're telling me HE doesn't want to go to LV?), OR our training facilities/staff is sub-ncaa level. Either way, something stinks about it.

Jamison still pulls 10 boards a game though.

Ammo can't do that.

I can't say this enough, but thank goodness for Coach Larry Brown.

Thank god for a competent, albeit possibly a senile old coach, but thank god for a competent one.

Adam deserves an oppurtunity under Coach Brown. It will be tough though, considering the fact we have JD, J Rich, Crash, Carroll and possibly even Weaver fighting for places in the 2/3 spot, but I'm confident he will come back better than ever this season. Go Ammo!

Welcome to the board Loh, interesting to see a fan in singapore. I have been there twice when I was in the Navy, and it is a very clean, pretty place. Just don't get caught chewing gum there!
