I like the expectation of good behavior with the use of bad language. Not saying the F word is bad, I actually love it and use it all the time, it just struck me funny

Jermario is solid I think. What about Ammo and McInnis? How could those 2 hang out without smoking weed? I picture Ammo spewing some philosophic bs that got him laid in college and passing to Jeff and before McInnis takes a hit he just starts laughing "You is one crazy ass white boy"

well hey i had to voice my opinion :) im lookin at all the legal issues that are plaguing the pacers now...the past issues with the jailblazers....and the marijuana comment made by josh howard in the playoffs that was a distraction....

i just dont want the same stuff happening to a bobcat player. that was the type of person bernie bickerstaff said he would always stay away from.

but i can totally see ammo and mcinnis doin that..which is kinda sad hahah

Yea, sounds like some people like perpetuating stereotypes. I'm not a stickler for PC, but it's unfair to pass judgment until he (and any other athlete) has actually done any of these things.

hey i'm just bringing it to attention. i can say for myself that i thot grandmas boy was a decently funny movie (definitely not funniest of all time tho). but you've got to at least think about the possible risks. tho i dont think anything too bad would happen just cuz he seems like a guy that would at least stay away from violence and probably doenst have friends that kill people like shawne williams has.

and for your information, i am very good at math (im a double major engineer at UC berkeley...which is also where my concerns with marijuana come from the most. a large percentage of people at berkeley smoke 24/7 including my former roommate who would do nothing at all all day except sit at home and smoke weed with his friends)... but also i'm quite the opposite to that other part comment :P i'm not a typical short asian, i'm 6'1-6'2 tall

stereotypes are nothing but percentages in my eyes. of course not everyone follows them, and its not fair to categorize everyone with them.. but they are usually the more likely to happen.

Eh, just as a social commentary, I'll make a comment: I think it's highly likely there are one or more Cats who take part in recreational "bombing." Depending on the strength of the weed, it's not like it's going to be detrimental to the team or to the individual, meaning there's not going to be any sap of motivation or ambition or anything like that. Also, I think whoever (if anyone) smokes on the team, they're smart enough to do it behind closed doors, and not get egg on their face or the team's face by getting caught, or is that too optimistic?

Either way, it happens; we all know people that do it, or have done it, or do it themselves, and atheltes are no exception. I'll have to say though, I wouldn't recommend the Josh Howard method of outing yourself: it's cool if you do it, but you don't need to sound so proud of it. There are some kids out there who actually look up to these guys after all.

that is what i agree with completely. i kno that a BUNCH of players probably smoke behind the doors. but like i said with the title...i just wanted this to be something to keep an eye out for and hope that jermareo doesnt get so comfortable talking to the media that he pulls a josh howard. i dont care what they do in their spare time (as long as its not dogfighting, murder, or something worse than smoking), but i want us to keep a good image. kids look up to these players and so far i'm proud to say that our team has a very good image in the league...and before vincent came we were regarded as the lots-of-heart-good-character-never-give-up-no-matter-the-odds type of team...and i wanna keep it that way.

luckily for us, the only one who has really ever brought this up is jermareo and he's not going to be interviewed by espn or anyone big besides our own reporters anytime soon so i have good faith that he'll keep it clean on the cameras

You know, if Jermareo's the only one on this team who's smoking weed then the team is doing just fine. Even if it does come out that Mr. Davidson, the new starting PF for the Charlotte Bobcats (oh, You've got a better idea with the current roster?), is a pot smoker, I don't think one fan or the league or anyone else would care because he hasn't done anything yet.

So, even though dabbling in the marijuana use in no way equals being a lazy, irresponsible ass, the worst case scenario here is that the media spreads the word that Jermareo, someone who no one is really familiar with outside of this forum and his family/friends, might have made a mistake.

Judging by the fact that he's made it this far, Davidson's not the type to get so stoned that he starts to blend in with the cushions on the couch. And if he is, well then he's not gonna make it much further.

Of course, ALL OF THIS is unfounded because the clues pointing to this conclusion are his taste in movies, music and vacation spots.

Hell, I don't even know why I'm bothering to submit this...

I wonder if he has Cool Runnings on DVD or if I missed it when it was on TV. Definitely one of my top 5 sports movies of all time. Grandma's Boy is hilarious. I thought it was just Sandler letting his friends make a movie on his dime but it's actually good. I can't remember who the chick was in that but she is hot.

PS i know plenty of people who love all three of those things and wouldn't smoke weed if 100 women in bikinis were asking them to.
