I saw the new court today...

I am working at an Elementary School Sports Camp this summer and we took a field trip today to the Cable Box.It was pretty lame. They showed us the Bank of America suite, some paintings in the hallways of the arena and all that junk, but anyway...

They had just received the new court and had it layed out in pieces on the court. It looks really nice. It has the new circle logo in the middle and Time Warner Cable text (no the logo) above and underneath the middle logo(where arena stuff usually is)
Not much orange at all but not much blue either. but anyway it looks good :)

How do you feel about our team colors? I was a little let down in the beginning about the burnt orange. It reminded me to much of prison outifts like we are a franchise of newly released convicts playing off our probation. I like the away Blue's, Carolina blue might have made a better choise if Denver didn't already use it. But i think we might already have a big enough carolina connection

ps: i left the white behind the TWCA logo simply b/c i couldn't find a TWCA logo that was big enough to be able to make it look good once the white was removed, i'm sure it won't look that way on the actual arena floor.

Yeah, I kinda wish that we could've gone with maybe a sky blue color, too. Possible with white in sort of an argyle pattern down the sides of the jerseys. That'd be so sweet. Why didn't we do that???????????

Hey michael I know this probably isn't your job but could you check to see if someone with the Bobcats will let the guys who make the 2K basketball games know we're changing our court again. Last year they didn't have our new court updated and with the changes again this year I'm afraid it'll happen again. They usually put it off on the teams when something like that happens and say they didn't get the information in time.

Floor is back in storage for the remainder of the week due to the Assemblies of God event at the Arena through Friday. Not sure what we're using for Lady Cats auditions on Sunday, but we have a few other shows coming in the next couple of months (American Idol, Gaither Family Homecoming, etc) so I don't know if they'll set it back up. If they do, I'll see what I can do on taking a picture for you guys.
