PISTONS: Herrmann gets 1-year deal
The Pistons agreed to a one-year deal with backup Walter Herrmann.

The 6-foot-9 small forward was an unrestricted free agent. Salary information was not disclosed.
The Pistons acquired Herrmann last season from the Charlotte Bobcats as part of the trade that shipped out center Nazr Mohammed. Herrmann, a 29-year-old Argentine, appeared in only 28 games for the Pistons, but the team likes his size, toughness and three-point ability.

I'm upset. I'm sure we could have brought him back at a reasonable price. Unless we have a better plan, it's a very bad miss for us.
