Morrison tops all rookie contracts as a bust as of now . McMay makes the top five too. It's no wander we have no trade pieces with two of the top five Bust players in the past four years.

I so far agree that both have been a bust, its do or die time for both of them in my opinion. I would love to see both guys come out and play some good or better yet some great basketball this season without going down to some injury or another. I feel we are a playoff team now that we have a coach and the 2 of them staying healthy would only make us that much better.

I read this a while ago, I disagree that both are bust but would add that their careers have been dissappointing so far. I would say sean is closer to bust status than Ammo. I believe that a bust is define as a player who has been given all chance to play but dont produce. Albeit that Ammo had a lackluster rookie year and injured the next, but this is the year that could he would have to prove all of them wrong. Sean just have to prove that he can stay healthy, he has produce when healthy. I would say Sean is a medical bust.
How the hell can Ammo be labeled a bust? The kid has only had 1 rookie season in the NBA. How about he be given 3 or 4 full years before he's tagged as anything.
How about guys like Darko, Stro, Bender, Jay Williams, Araujo, Sweetney...............
There are a LOT of guys I would put well ahead of Ammo.
McMay? Well, he's another story.

IMO people label Ammo a bust similar to why they do so with Reggie Bush right now different sport but very similar situations overall. Both players turned out to be drafted higher in there respective drafts than they should have been, high profile prospects that came out of college over hyped TV commercials, shoe deals etc. Also it didn't help matters with the media proclaiming Ammo to be the next Larry Bird and Reggie "Bust" was going to be the second coming of Gale Sayers mixed with Barry Sanders it was a lot to live up too for both guys.

That's the main reason I never get caught up in the media hype. Weather it be sports, politics, etc. Reporters are like blood thirsty vampires looking for a big jugular vein to tap into. They make their money by reporting the news and they all always add either their spin or the company's they work for spin. That's how they sell their stories to the public..... We all live in media hype hell...
Morrison is far from the biggest bust out there. As stated above, he has only had 1 season and then out for injury in another. I, personally, expect him to surprise a lot of folks this year and have a very productive season.
May may have put up good numbers when he has played but as the article stated, "58 games is 58 games". Come on Sean! Put the cheeseburger down and slowly walk away from the drive thru! Don't waste that potential...we need a starting power forward damn it!

WALK away from the drive thru? When's the last time May walked more than 40 yards? I picture him on a segway or a rascal.

I said walk slowly:) I do think it is kind of funny picturing him in the Mcdonalds drive thru on a little rascal though...I bet that little basket on the front could hold a lot of Bic Macs!

Lets keep him away from krispi kremes and in the work out area to get him in shape. I really think we have a play off run coming this season and could use him drastically in the run.... not another bench rider or a team observer like last year....`

Sean May has by far been a bust since he knew he had knee problems in college. He came to the NBA as a college champion and MVP of the final four. He has not produced anything since but jokes and diabetes. Yes he has been hurt but so were Amire Stoudamire and Jason Kidd and they came back the next yr and were productive. May came back and got hurt again on the same damn raggly knee. Sean May has the most to prove from anyone on that list.
Morrison was probably over hyped coming out of college cuz he had that Larry Bird stroke. As a overall player Passing,Rebounding,Playmaking, anything other then a jump shot, What does he offer? He was probably on his way to having a much better sophmore season with the cats till he was hurt. Morrison can't be called a bust yet. You can't guage his bust status on a rookie year and a couple preseason games.
