Are we looking to trade for Sheed

Rumor to day has us looking trade for Sheed , Would that be a smart thing considering Sheeds age ? We do need a power foward . Depends on what we have to give up moer than likely too much?

I don't see how unless it's some multi player deal, but even that would be very difficult. Pretty sure they don't want Crash with his long contract (nor Hammer for that matter), they won't want Nazr back and I'd hope to God Jordan isn't stupid enough to trade Swish...but even if he was they still have Hamilton.

The rest of our players have contracts that are too small.

BTW, this was purely a "let's pull it out of my ass because I have nothing else" comment.

I would be against a trade for Sheed unless it was clearly a salary dump by Detroit and we traded nothing but the end of the bench guys.

There is nothing new fellas. Another writer mentioned that the most possible destination for Sheed would be Charlotte, just like at the beginning of offseason. He heard nothing about it, we shouldn't jump onto that. This trade wouldn't happen, because we'd have to give up too much since we don't have so many big bad contracts to trade. And I wouldn't give Gerald for Sheed even directly.

Never say never with the Bobcats front office same management that was going to shop an already injury prone Crash for a player even less durable in TJ Ford. Who knows a deal MIGHT be on the table I just pray we're not stupid enough to let go a core guy just to get him.
