Glad to see him back . He could become a go to guy coming off the beanch . At worst he can contribute this year whitch is a big step over last year.
Hammer might be a force be for season starts the way hes looking in that work out. Good to see Swish and Brown on the court this soon too.

Another offseason-workout video! The Bobcats website is coming on strong late in the (off)season!

Ammo has a stroke dude. See about halfway through where he's pulling up from the top. Straight up and down, no lean to the side. That really shows his knee is back and healthy since he's not favoring to one side.
I forgot how sweet his stroke was though, thanks for the vid :D

Yeah. I think alot of people forgot how good of a shooter he really is. He just had up and down games in his rookie campaign
He played with too much pressure in his rookie year. He forced things a lot. I think that had to do a lot with coaching and obviously with him being a high draft pick and being a scoring machine in college. Even before this video, I have felt that he is one of the most undervalued players on this team. I expect him to do some very good things this season. He will surprise a lot of people and many will say, "where did this guy come from"!
Also, I agree with the earlier comment about no lean to his shot. Great point. He is clearly getting straight off the floor on his jumpers and that is a really good thing. If he can just relax and let the game come to him, I think that jumper will really serve us well.

I like Ammo's hair. I wonder if he'll cut it off before the season starts? Let's hope not and I pray that it gives him Sampson like Powers!!
That one footed tear drop at about 48 seconds is sweet!!
I hope he shaves his head bald and becomes the white Reggie Miller.

Nice video. I hope that he'll work on his defence though. Next video should be about May, I would like to see how good he became.

You would. haha
I'd love it if he kept it and the Bobcats sold some type of Morrison Wig and Mustache that I could wear to games
......anyway, I like Hammer's release, it better be quick since he's short. I think it looks kind of weird though? Maybe its because he jumps pigeon-toed, I dunno

I still don't see him ever starting here especially with Coach Brown running things but if he can have a 6 man of the year type year by being our Jerry Stackhouse off the bench I'd feel a little better about him being here. I must say though I'm loving these Bobcats.com player profiles I'm hoping we can get a few more with the rest of our core players and our draft acquisitions.

I was actually looking at it the opposite way. He's one of those high character/high IQ guys that plays the game the right way. (Or at least that was the word coming out of college).
I think he really did have the potential to be a solid 15-20 ppg. type guy. Hopefully he can still realize that potential and come out and show all of us he really can ball.

It will be interesting year for him to get the minutes under Brown to be able put up that many points per game he'll have to step up his D and with Dudley on the roster it will be even harder for him. I do see him being our leading scorer off the bench though him or Augustin.

I think it's because his shot is compact and he shoots it more from in front of his face rather than having a high release point..........which is bad because unless he is open or gets separation, his shot is very blockable - which is why the quick trigger is so important.

Exactly right. Thats the difference between a set shooter and a jump shooter like Ammo. They go for the high jump, high release because they're usually in traffic. It's safer and weaker at the same time because with that extra movement comes an increased risk to mess up on things like keeping your elbow in, fingertips only on the ball, shoulders straight, etc.
Set shooters like Hammer (and myself:biggrin:) have compact shots that don't waste any motion because they're usually shorter so they have to get off a quicker shot. The benefits being less of a chance of messing up, but of course having the downside of it being blockable by a close athlete.
Not disagreeing with you by any means lol just "expanding" on it for whoever else wants clarification O0

If I had to guess, I'd say Chapel Hill. That's something I don't understand either. I know he was finishing his degree for most of the summer, and that's fine. I'm glad he at least bore the facade of working out while going back to school. On the other hand, summer sessions ended weeks ago and it's pretty clear that the videos on Bobcats.com were combinations of Las Vegas practices and work-outs the day before the video was put up on the site.
He should be in the gym if he's healthy enough to do so.

Adam looks to be in great shape and I can't wait for the season to start so we can see him on the court again. I am confident he will be great this year and contribute to the team. I realize that Ammofan and I are the biggest Adam fans on the planet and are a little biased, but I believe he will prove himself to be a real asset to our team this season!

32 games won last year with a dsyfuctional team and hurt brand name players. Morrison being healthy gives us a chance in a few more of those games. He looked in shape and ready to play, I can't wait till the season starts!!!
