Is it rumored that the Hornets are a favorite to win the NBA championship?

As far as them being favorites, though, I will say that they do have James Posey, who's been taking hand-jewelry fashion tips from Robert Horry.

The Hornets improved their roster in the offseason by signing swingman James Posey, who helped the Boston Celtics win their first championship this past June.

Hum weather the Hornets get that far or not, I didn't realize this was Boston's first Championship.... LOL ; I bet Larry Bird has something to say about that...

Wow that is some ridiculously crappy journalism. As for the Hornets, they definitely have a shot to win it all this season but I think with the return of a healthy Bynum the Lakers will have something to say about that.

Of course I'm only mentioning West teams because we all know the Bobcats are gonna represent the East in the Finals.

If our core guys can stay healthy and they buy into what Coach Brown wants to do we'll get 38 to 40 wins easily :)
