All in all it sounds like the guys are really dedicated to making some things happen this season, but one thing that leaped out from the article was that there was no mention of Sean May.

they did say he was not there nor that he did not play. i guess we are to assume he was there and playing. he could have been huffing and puffing though the game and beating everyone to the refreshment table.

maybe they are keeping his rehab and status as a secret or he is just too much of a disappointment to mention.

Would the Shannon Brown haters be happy if he turns out to be Larry's Bobcats version of George Lynch. Brown is no George Lynch in skill set or body size. Lynch is a good 3-4 inches taller than Brown, was a banger/hustler/offensive rebounder inside with a nice touch from the perimeter. Not to mention the two play different positions; Brown, backcourt; Lynch, frontcourt. Comparing the two makes no sense.

I'll be happy if Brown can contribute in any positive way on and/or off the court. It speaks highly of him that he's at the voluntary workouts, so he's off to a good start at changing my opinion of him!

Still, that's exactly what we need...someone in the Lynch mold who can bang inside, yet step out on offense and guard perimeter on defense. Maybe Carl Landry could fill that mold? I don't know, I just don't see anyone on our roster that can do such...Crash could; he's just not thick enough to take the licks that go along with being a banger as we know all too well.

^I think Shannon Brown will open some eyes especially if he commits to playing D similar to how he played it at MSU.

We have a few position battles that will be interesting to watch this year DJ/Felts, Hammer/Shannon Brown and Dudley/Ammo looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. I was reading Jared Dudleys end of year review and the writer was saying how he thought Coach Brown could make Dudley his George Lynch type of bench player.

No I will continue to hate on Shannon Brown for the year, I'm locked into it now. I'm not a flip flopper. You can't assume since they didn't say May didn't play he did. Mays recovery has been just as big in Bobcat world as morrisons. His lack of mention in any worksouts so far should say something about him and his respect for the team. The media would be all over him if he was there, But he hasn't been around for anyone to interview.

May played the artical said 10 contracted players played with Swish , Davidson, DJ. and Mek to be the only signed players not playing. With Swish and Davidson all ready busting tail , So some one tell Mek and DJ to get with the program.

I didn't like the commit made about Morrison and making cuts . He may never get back what he needs to be competive. ACL seregy is hell,,,,
The addition of Brown may reflect the doubts of Morrison being able to contribute. But with Swish and Hammer shooting lights out and Brown as a insurance policy. It's not to much need to worry about Morrison . Just hope he can return full strenth.
I to would feel much better if we could land Landry be for camp as a insurance policy for May. But i expect no new additions now . May be after season starts and Brown gets a feel for the players. We add a p/f . Though i feel we get a beetter value now out of Landry
All in all its great news for Bobcats fans.

VERY good news that all these guys are in Charlotte and are already working together.

Mek not being there kind of pisses me off, DJ to a somewhat lesser extent. Mek has probably struggled the most in team play and he needs his arse in Charlotte working with the other guys. DJ also needs to learn the other guys as well as impress his new coach.

Agreeded DJ , Whats the deal he's a damn rookie and a point at that . He more than any one else needs to get adjusted to the other players.
Agreeded , Mek after being handed out a 72 milion dollar contract . He needs to work on team play being one of the big three. But so far we havn't had no problems with him coming to camp out of shape. He just seems so much like a loner to me . A person who stays to thair self.

Knowing that most of the team has been working out together so early in the year gives me extra hope. We can actually see them taking it seriously this time. Just like we fans say "this is the year" every year, Both team & fans feel this might really be the year. I like our base core players. We have a couple soft spots but compaired to the other teams and the fight I saw out the Cats there's first two yrs, I'll take my team in any game against every one else. We have to get back to that, That want and need to win. I don't want to see another franchise in Charlotte fold.
