A win at home!
The Panthers sure did make it really tough on themselves, though. Way too many penalties.

That was so up and down but a win is a win 2-0 without Smitty how sick was it seeing Jake all pumped up after that big helmet to helmet shot he took?
PS- Jonathan Stewart is a f*cking beast they couldn't stop him in the second half major props to him, Gamble and Chris Harris.
Edit - Haha New Orleans Aints lost lol.

I don't like the 1:00 start time deal. Hopefully it'll be more bearable when it gets colder. I DID sit up there with some funny fans again:D
All the neutral zone infraction, false start, offsides, etc. penalties before the snap got a little annoying...
Stewart is a monster, if he keeps progressing we'll have a top 5/10 tandem in the backfield. Too bad DWill wasn't looking too sharp. I'm really happy we won though, especially without Smitty
2-0 without, WOW I wonder what we do AFTER he brings the big play element to our game. This is gonna be a good year:p

thinking back, Jake seems to pull a lot of 4th quarter scoring drives to win games. This week, last week, against the Rams back in the day..
He seems like the type of guy that'll stink it up the first 3 quarters then turn into a quarterback I actually want to keep around

Speaking of Beasts...John Beason was a monster out there. Way better upgrade for Thunder Dan Morgan.
For this game Stewart was a bigger fit Vs. the bears. Williams wouldn't have broke half as many tackles. They are a great one two punch.
Chris Harris has gained my respect this year. My sister met him in Vegas and didn't even know who he was....She knows now.
Offensive line stay'd healthy today...Dline looks good but they aren't the force they used to be.

I was worried when I first got home and turned on the game, already 7-0, I said "what the heck happened?"... Then it was 10-0 I said "oh well here it goes". Then it was 10-3 I said "oh well maybe".... Then boom it was 17-3 and I'm thinking "oh hell its a home game, please don't end up like last season".. Then it was like the entire team woke up. The offense started playing better and the defense started making stops finally. 17-6 then 17-13 and finally took the lead 20-17 and what really blew my mind was the 4th down stand and took the ball back. Great game guys but please take it easier on the ole ticker for now on.... We (2-0) have Minnesota (0-2) next week in Minnesota and we also have sole possession of 1st place in the NFC south... :p

Is it just me or did Stewart look exactly like Adrian Peterson in the second half? dude had no mercy running the ball. Also I was upset to see such a bad day with Williams he just couldn't get anything going against that explosive D. I still stand pat that Stewart should be used to pound out the defense and D-Will should be used like Reggie Bush/Brian Westbrook as a receiver/running back since he could be dangerous in the open field if we passed him the ball.

Yeah, I think there will be weekends where DWill is better and weekends when Stewart is better (though I'm having trouble imagining Stewart not having a good game). I think having the tandem helps them both. I also like your Westbrook idea for Williams.
At the end of the day, though, we're 2-0 and we get Minnesota next week. I look to see our D show up strong again, and with Smith back that's gonna help Moose get open.

I hoping with Smitty back we'll see a Panthers offense similar to how we looked against Washington they'll try to double/triple Smith but than Rosario, Hackett, Moose, Stewart or D-Will will make them pay big time for it.
Jeff Davidson called a few short yardage passes to him check out this highlight of D-Will from last year he's very dangerous in the open field reminds me of Westbrook mixed with a prime Warrick Dunn.

Hell yea D-Will is by far the better running back Bush should just convert to being a wide receiver his stats look good because of all purpose yards.
