Okafor vid now front and center on www.nba.com/bobcats

In the video you pretty much see everyone playing a pickup game (INCLUDING MAY!). This along with the DJ video were great to see. It's hard to watch these videos and not get excited for the upcoming season. I may be wrong in my assessment but I've never seen the commitment level this high with our guys. They want to be ready for LB and not let him down. That says a lot.

He's trimmed down a heck of a lot. He looks good and that mid range J along the base was what we need to see a lot more of - as well as that sweet post spin on McMay

I noticed his size too Slam I wonder why he's slimming down I would expect the opposite if he's going to man the 5 consistently.

It's looking like he's slimming down on the body fat. Not the muscle. He needs a band-aid he's so cut..... maybe thats a little too far haha

He's looking stronger and more ATHLETIC to me. Which makes up for a loss is weight. Even still, muscle weighs more than fat :hypo:

Very nice video! How 'bout Gerald with the sweet dishes to Mek inside? Most underrated interior passer in the league, bar none! It was a lot of fun to see all the guys out there (including May who knocked down a 12 footer!!!) a couple weeks before training camp. They really looked they are committed to getting this thing done and not letting coach down.

This was a much needed shot in the arm for me after Bud Selig and MLB screwed my Astros but good over the weekend. It doesn't help Drayton McLane, the owner is a moron too, but having to play a home game a little over a day after Houston was creamed by the hurricane, making players leave their families to travel 1700+ miles to Milwaukee to play in front of a "neutral" crowd of 22K Cubs, I mean, Scrubs fans who fucking booed them when the took the field, while the Cubs took a mere 70 mile bus ride south from Chicago to play an away game. Nothing can ever be done that will account for this injustice. They killed our momentum and are now likely finished with in the wildcard race discussion. So much excitement of winning 14 of 15, and to see it end so quickly, so disgracefully...thank goodness the Panthers are 2-0, and the we got this nice Bobcats video.

Still, sod off, Cubs, sod off! And may you get hit in the fucking head you son of a bitch, Aramis Ramirez, for those callous words you made about the Astros situation. If you and/or your family ever got caught in a hurricane, your ass would get no sympathy for me, cg!!!>:(

I hope your right I just don't want him to drop TO MUCH weight so he can handle the D12's and Greg Oden type bigs. I know there aren't many but still he's the only guy on our team that has a chance to D those types up. Also he does look more athletic not just in the clip but last year I loved his new trend of while in the paint having the mind set of trying to dunk on anyone in his way. Just imagine if he can add a few more post moves (other than his little hook bank shot) and work on hitting that mid range consistently he would be worth all of the money we gave him this year.

I'm amazed at all how well McMay was moving I didn't think he could run at the moment that got me pumped more than anything.

JRich is the man. Mek was working out in NYC, so he goes there for a couple weeks over the summer to work out with him! That's leadership.

Is that what he did? I couldn't make out quite what they said other than he did work out with Swish. The man is taking the leadership role to heart.

I'm loving that vid! Mek's looking good...May is looking good...heck, they're all looking pretty good! This is going to be so huge that they're all in the gym working together.

The new company line appears to be "be ready for training camp, don't use training camp to get ready." They're clearly taking that to heart. Mek even says in the video that everyone's already in-shape.

Still waiting on a May video.

Man, that video looks good.

A lot of folks are kinda on the Bobcats for not making (in their opinion) many offseason moves. Based on this video and others, the entire culture of the team has changed with Larry Brown at the helm. He may just be the missing piece to put this whole thing together. I am so excited to see what this kind of dedication during the offseason means when the regular season roles around. I suspect it will be very apparent right off the bat.

May seemed to be moving pretty well and he didn't look like a blimp. That is an extremely good sign!

Yeah, no one here needs a reminder of just who's been coaching this team. (You remember the guy who made Bernie Bickerstaff look like a great coach?!)
LB's going to mean a lot of change to how this team plays, and on a more basic level how they carry themselves as a team. I'm not expecting National Champions out of them, but I am expecting to see a much better ball club.

Im so glad to see Mek joining in with the other players early . Larry Brown just being the coach is making a world of differance even be for a real practice.
I liked the idea of Mek trying to gain speed and hope under Larry Brown he can guard the four. May and the fade away jumper on Mek shows just how much ability May has . He might have the highest basketball IQ on the team . He has the talent no doubt , but does he have the wheels, the desire and heart to be come a solid starting p/f.
Davidson has all so looked great in the videos . He might be the dark horse ready to break out.
Hell after watching Hammer . He could start and the team don't miss a beat . It might work out well having Wallace as a sixth man coming off the beanch . Hes great at giving the team a spark . He can be a go to when Swish takes a rest . Be a solid two when Carroll rest a increase no drop off at all. He could even play spot mins at the four depending on match ups. We could still have him in at the end of games as one of our better players .
I really like this ,sorry Morrison fans til he shows he can earn that spot.
Felton , DJ SOLID
Carroll , Wallace adds a lot of debth.
Rich, Wallace , No drop off at all hear
May, Davidson , Mek , Wallace , This all of sudden makes the four spot look solid
Mek, or Nazz depending on match ups If Nazz starts Hollins backs up.
Thats a tight rotation but effective.
If we go with a deeper rotation i would still start Carroll.
Felts, DJ.
Hammer, Crash
Rich, Dudley
May , Davidson,
Mek, Nazz
With a solid Morrison, if some one gets hurt,
With Alexas. Hollins, Brown fighting for scrap time.
Crash really makes the second unit strong and we have no drop off .

An outside jumper, Not many of those went in for him last year. Thats something for him to work on this offseason. Actually alaround scoring needs to be worked on 13.9 points a game isn't good enough. Very happy to see him so cut and in shape. This is going to be a great year!!!

Agreed. I don't want to be paying a guy what we are paying him only to have a 14/10/2 stat line per game.

I hope he's been working on that ft shooting the most. If he can bring that up into the 70's that will add 3-4 ppg and get him up around 18ppg. Increase the other cats to 12rpg and 3bpg and an assist or two per and that will go a long way, along with 75+ games a year, in justifying the coin we have committed to him.

18/12/3/2 and 75+ games per year is money well spent.
