I thought of two good questions...

Who will be the first Bobcats all-star?

Who will be the first to have his jersey retired?

First Bobcats All-Star will be J-Rich this season.

First to have his jersey retired will be Emeka Okafor because I believe he's going to stick with this franchise for the majority, if not all of his career and he will average a double double in that time span. Add that to the fact that he was our first ever pick and it's pretty much a lock that his jersey will be retired first.

Richardson for both.

Richardson will be our first all star.

As for the first retired jersey, definitely Okafor. Being the first draft pick and probably playing your entire career here and averaging good numbers says it all.

I would guess that either Crash or Swish would get retired first, since they would probably retire before Emeka. Not that everyone's gonna get retired, but Crash has been the soul of the team for a while and Swish will likely be the first all-star. So, I figure those two are retire-worthy.

I think Jason Richardson for both...Okafor is more of a guarantee but I agree with Muttley that Richardson will actually retire before Oak.

As much as I love Wallace, I am not sold that he will play out his career here. He has been mentioned in numerous trade talks already and there is always the injury concern. I would say Richardson and Okafor are both more likely than Gerald.

I believe J-Rich will do it and maybe Mek has a breakout season this year with his new contract and does it too.. GW could be considered for a allstar position if he also breaks out this season.... But I do believe J-Rich will be the first...

I think it is too early to tell. I think we have to see our Bobcats propel themselves into the Playoffs via the "get on my back and I'll carry you" attitude of someone on this team. Maybe it's Crash, maybe Swish, maybe Okafor. But someone will step up and lead us into the Playoffs. That will be our first All-Star and our first Jersey in the rafters. But I am not prepared to venture who is the player as I dont know yet who possesses that quality and drive to get the job done. It may not even be any of the three. It may be someone who is not currently wearing a Bobcat's uniform.

Richardson for first, Okafor for second. The first answer is safe bet, second is "wait-and-see".

JRich will be our first all-star....I don't think he'll be here though after his contract ends, so I'm expecting Crash to end his career here and be our first jersey in the rafters, Okafor being number 2

Agreed

I think Wallace will be the first to have his jersey retired. Both have been with the team since the start. Wallace has had better production then Okafor and is probably more of a fan favorite.
