http://smilies.vidahost.com/contrib/sally/lol.gif at Felts and McMay bringing up old memories of Carolina beating Michigan State in the final four when they first saw him. Anyway Bonnell was right dude looks like he could play running back in the NFL hopefully he can find a home on the Bobcats.

Yeah Shannon was always a big dude. I remember him back at Mich State just jumping from ANYWHERE and going to the hoop. Dude is an athlete for sure so we don't need to worry about the strength/ conditioning part of his game.
He's just always relied on that athleticism and hasn't really developed a smoothness to his game. Hopefully he's matured and has learned to work on his fundamentals because if he does this guy can be a BEAST

That kind of description reminds me of Corey Maggette. I'm not suggesting Brown will deliver Maggette type numbers but at least his development reminds me of him. Lately, I have been really raising my hopes for him from a 11th or 12th man to an actual top 10 rotation guy. With that athleticism, if he really plays D the way we have heard, he could end up earning so decent minutes in Larry Brown's system.

I would actually agree and call him a poor man's Corey Maggette. They really are similar in size and athleticism. Maggette has done a better job of putting the talent to use though. With Brown, the talent is there, he just needs to realize it.

haha and he is DEFINITELY too small to play the PF. He's something like 6'4

Charles Barkley.

Charles Barkley.
6'4 and 3/4 from his own mouth:biggrin:
Besides, there's no way you can even begin to compare the two. The talent level is so much different, and Charles played in a different era. The rookie Bill Walker is 6'6 just like Michael Jordan... would you compare them?

It'd actually probably be a lot easier for a 6 foot 4 player to play PF today then back when Barkley played,

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm not trying to put them on the same level or anything. I'm just saying that a 6'4" PF is possible, if rare.
